I agree that it was murder. That is why I said that I could never do it. I have been in abusive relationships in the past and still, I would not have done it!

Although, I have prayed for lightning to strike those that hurt me (he-he-he - just kidding!).

:lol LOL .. it is understandable to think those sorts of things when in those situations.

Linden's was a victim of similar abuse .. her parents neglected her .. physically and emotionally we gather ..

but its one thing to think these things and quite another to physuically enact them ..

Phoebe, I didn't know you were from Tasmania. Did you love Reggie as much as the rest of the world did?

Ahh but she did... she tried to stab one of the Haruchai in the throat because he was dying or something and one of the others broke her arm with a kick. But then she was out of it as well.

Watching someone lay there and waiting for them to die is within my realm of experience, though not for the years that LA had to go through. It is indeed a hellish experience as Phoebe said. You're so damned helpless and they're clearly suffering.
Yes it was murder and her mother probably didn't WANT to die, yet Linden was doing them BOTH a favor so she could move on. Having to wait another two or three years in those conditions... which would've been more cruel?
Hell and Blood even TC understood her motives when she confessed to him and we all know what a wonderful judge of character he was huh?

And the answer is no I didn't do anything... they expired on their own but it was still a miserable experience to do a "death-watch"...which was all what LA was doing with her mother to begin with.
I certainly would not want to be laying there dying day after day after day... if there is no hope for me then kill me then...(from Alive) eat me!

I know this may sound heartless, but Lindens mother deserved just what she got. She was a nasty, horrible life wrecker that deserves absolutely no sympathy.

:(

well she wasnt very nice :( but I dont think she deserved to be snuffed out .. and not by LA.

She was on her way to being snuffed out by her illness anyway .. it was just a matter of time before nature claimed her ..

LA .. even though currently a doctor  .. then she wasnt .. and giving and taking life was not a decision she was mandated to make.

LA's parents were bastards. She did what she did because of her parents. If her parents were normal, or at least not quite so psychotic, LA probably would never have considered killing her mother. The abuse she received as a child must've had unimaginable consequences. Who knows what seeds of social misbehavior were planted in LA while living with her parents?
Most people never entertain the idea of murder, many joke about, some imagine it, buy very few perform it. Thanks to her parents, LA is capable of carrying out the act. Thankfully, however, it also drove her to succeed as a Doctor. Just another paradox in the Chronicles.

A passionate Killing...similar to what Nom had to do to Honninscrave; what do you all think?

She enjoyed having the power over THB (The heartless bitch (Lindens mother)), because if you remember, she is ALWAYS going on about she has no power, and how much she wants it.
