Cold Stone Creamery! Part Deux

Post by Worm of Despite »

I'm going to the Creamery tomorrow. This one's in Chattanooga; been to it twice already. They should just rename the place "Heaven", heh.

The rules: first person to reply, pick a flavor from either of these two lists and I'll eat it.

Can't find the "Cool and yummy" flavor anywhere. Dag nabbit, and it's almost time to go. Guess I'll have to pick myself. That'll take about ten years, knowing my "oh gosh every flavor looks fantastic" mentality.

Oh well, probably for the best. Someone would've picked cotton candy ice cream with lemons or something. Yech.

*comes back after intense minutes of soul-searching* Well, I think I'll either get "Breathless Boston Cream Pie" or "Coffee Lovers Only". Will add coconut to whichever one I eventually pick.

Why not come up with your own combination?

Ah...I must have missed that post.

Do the combinations offered prevent that? Or was it the amount you ate?

My first trip to a Cold Stone was a disaster. The place was small; I didn't see the list of preset flavors, so I compulsively went, "uhhh...I'll have chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups, sprinkles, and roasted almonds."

Generally that never would've made me sick, but I got a "Gotta Have It" size. Didn't know that thing was the size of a red giant star. Felt like I had food poisoning on the ride home.

These days I always pick from the preset flavors, as they're sure-fire. Also always get the "Love It" size, which is not too big but definitely satisfies.

Today's trip to the Cold Stone was great. Was a two hour drive but definitely worth it (did other stuff than eat ice cream, mind you, but the Cold Stone was the highlight). Got the "Coffee Lover's" flavor, which had Heath bar. Mmmm toffee.

It's all I can do to get the smaller size down, as the ice cream there is so rich. :) I'm sure I would also get sick if I were to try to big size. :)

And yes- they should call it heaven. 8)
Love as thou wilt.
