Hmm, I seem to remember seeing a cosmic scroll bearing that name, right next the name Rigante..
Oh crap! took me a while to get that, it's the creator-type being in Gemmell isn't it?

A slightly different meaning here - honestly, my delusions of grandeur are high, but not that high!

Good to know, I thought that might have smelled a bit fishy..

Speaking of which, the city of Linver in southern Olaern is now red. Who controlls that? Unless its a secret.... :|

I'll do it as soon as I have a chance, probably later today or tomorrow.

As a side note: Maeror, as the god of death, has repeatedly stated he/she/they have dominion over the souls of the dead. Which is technically true, except that he/she/they have not yet worked on the afterlife, or decided the rules by which it works. Right now, for example, all souls who are not drawn into undeath come to the afterlife, which is basically a featureless, eternal gray plain; but it is in Maeror's power to set different fates for different kinds of souls, so that they are automatically sorted, for example allowing each god to receive the souls of his or her dead followers. It is also in Maeror's power to change the appearance of the afterlife as he/she/they see fit, whether to turn it into a lush paradise or a hellish dimension. Finally, it is even in Maeror's power to decree different fates for the dead - of which reincarnation is the least.
All of these endeavours require the expenditure of DRPs to make the changes permanent; however, it might be good for Maeror to think about it, since how the afterlife is structured might affect the way the other deities think of him/her/them and how the mortals react to the idea of death.

Check out the game thread. 'tis mine.

Oh, and Vadhaka: Could you go back to your old avatar? The new one (while nice) severely hampers scrolling and mouse/keyboard response time. Actually it is close to impossible to copy anything with any precision, when your (very impresive) avatar is on screen.

How odd...I can't go back to my old one, but I'll see if I can redo that one...I think it's a bit heavy in terms of frame-rate anyway...40 odd frames IIRC.

I sometimes have a problem with it myself, but it resolves if I just wait a moment and let it load completely.

Still, will try with fewer frames and see if that helps.

It's not the number of frames but the amount of data moved between frames. But anyway, it seems ok now. Did you do anything, or am I imagining things? ;)

No, I didn't do anything. Like I said, sometimes it...stutters, and sometimes it doesn't. Regardless, because I'm such a nice person ( ;) ) I went and re-did it smaller. Also made one with a plain background.

Will try the same but smaller first. Let me know how it works...otherwise the plain one, which is half again as small.

A quick warning: turns this week could be a little late - I have to work today, so I don't know if I'll be able to prepare them in time.
