Ah, wine bottles. My first and only drunken night was in Florence, Italy, back in early June this year. Didn't take the entire bottle, either--only about 95%! Actually, probably 90, because I spilt the last cup all over my bed covers and started laughing. Man, that morning was not pleasant.

My roommate has a classic video of that first drunken hour. Need to get that from him somehow, heh. Not that I mind him having it or showing it to anyone. Just want a copy for myself, heh.

Feeling pretty good this morning. I'm getting ready to drive down to Chicago in a little bit to see Hamlet this afternoon.

Nice, Damelon. I've always wanted to see Hamlet. Only Shakespeare plays I've seen are Romeo & Juliet (once in Atlanta and once at Stratford-upon-Avon). Also saw Coriolanus at London's Globe. That's one of his lesser-known works, to be sure. It surprised me to find out he wrote it late in life; I assumed it an early piece.

The Globe itself was the real attraction, anyway. Was so fun to be a "groundling" and so near the stage. You could really feel the energy of the actors, as they were just about over your head (and some in the crowd). Lots of interaction. At one point, an actor picked a piece of meat (supposed to be flesh from a battle) off his clothing with a dagger, and he flung it at someone not ten feet from me. Great stuff.

Oh Lordy, nothing worse than hormones running amok! Hope your doc changes your dose (or the medication altogether) so you can feel better soon!

Pretty good. It's a long weekend and we have the Gay Oscars tonight, which is always a great excuse to get drunk. I'm taking seven straight friends this year, which kinda makes me a little like Snow White I guess. :P
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
