I was aware that Romeo was one of SRD's readers.

But Seareach?

And now Jenn?

You gals have made burgs and I insanely jealous.

Grace? What quaint thing is that?

Grace is all around us. But oh I wish I were a reader! I would read like the wind, or something.

Well, I knew about Romeo and Seareach but not CJ, and I'm insanely jealous as well.

Why don't we all write SRD and ask to be readers. I'm sure he'd accomodate our requests.

I can't believe you've all forgotten the other book in this series! The story of the Haruchai...

"Oh Shucks, We Really Didn't Mean Forever!"

(edited to fix the fact that Haruchai don't cuss)

Actually, that's really appropriate. I waited 20 years after I'd read it the first time to read it again, I simply skipped it through all my re-reads. I didn't even own a copy of it 'till Runes came out and I figured I ought to brush up on it.

It was a revelation to me, too, when I joined. By now, I'm very tired of the endless Linden-bashing, so I don't participate anymore in any discussions about her.

Yeah, it gets old. It was funny for a while, but now you can't really have a serious discussion without it popping up, so I don't bother. And I'm not talking about dislike of Linden as a character, it's the never-ending Linden-bashing. We get that you hate her already. :?

Now now, in my own personal defense, I don't really *hate* Linden... 99% of the stuff I post about Linden is just tongue-in-cheek humor. The other 1% is from the fact that I just don't like her at all. Heh. :P

I mean, come on now, it's not like the Linden-bashing is going on *all* the time. At least not from me. (Aside from an avatar here and there...heh.)

If it's really bothering you all, you know you all could always, like, you know, talk to me about it.-jay

I always take the Linden humer with a lot of salt. It doesn't really bother me. I would rather everything be from Covenant's POV but hey! I'm arguing with the master (SRD)

He says that's the way he wants it, then that's the way it is!

Linden is the literary equivalent of Herpes, except that taking 5 pills a day doesn't make her go away.

I think Jay summed her up best, "The Queen of Inaction".

But as someone else said, I think the real issue is that she's not Thomas, and what we wanted was more Thomas.

I just find it amusing to find new ways to crack on her.

Well Cail, can't argue with you....after all you did call my show brilliant on another thread..... I too have my own issues with Linden but then again aren't all SRD's charactors written purposefully flawed?
