Extremely happy. I just came home and found an international package waiting for me. It's a gift from Lyr; two beautiful photos of the Eiffel Tower. You just made my week, Lyr!

Nice sig pic, Lore. I haven't been playing Dark Crusade lately, but I'd like to play a game against you with my Tau some time. You'll prolly crush me, but hey, that's what friends are for!

Please don't do this. . . it could release all sorts of bacteria into your bloodstream and you could end up being really sick! If you need to, go to an urgent care or an ER for pain meds/anitbiotics, and then get an appointment with the dentist. I would also try explaining to your dentist that you don't have the money up front, but ask if you can make a down payment and pay it off in installments.

I'm sorry I can't offer any better advice. . .

Too late..I couldn't handle it..I used a plastic toothpic (hopefuly it was satitary) and dental floss...and It hurt sooooo much!! but within an hour it started to feel better, and all day today I only had to take one extra strength Advil migrane gelcap...And I had been pretty much living on them (so much so I felt like I was getting an ulcer)

I feel better. The candy overload of Halloween is flowing out of my system, albeit slowly. I just need to moderate for a few days (I'm thinking a vegetarian dish this Friday at the local Chinese place instead of my usual sweet and sour pork).

The end-semester crush is coming, which means an ugly cross-fire of research papers and final exams. I've decided to take a day off Thursday. Just a bunch of English classes, anyway. Corruption needs a rest, too!

I was going to post something about Mystic, the horse we had to put down this weekend, but I get the feeling she doesn't want me to.

I still feel like I didn't do right by her.

Damnit.

Jesus GOD! This is too much! PM and I'll either send you the money or google a dentist in your city to give you real care!

Oh, god, I can't stand that the USA has no national health care. This is a disgrace. Jesus.

PM me.

EDIT: I did this sort of thing once, because even though I was working at Sony, I was too new in the union to have coverage. Dude, please go to a dentist. PM me. Don't worry about cost.

Aww. . you're making me blush! I'm glad you liked them, though. I was beginning to wonder if your postman had two new pictures hanging on his wall.. . I guess that it just takes a long time for mail to get there from here. ;) |G

I really like your sig, Lyr. I've never seen that quote from WAM before. But what kind of love is he talking about?

I feel reclusive. I come over shy sometimes; I feel stupid and don't want to talk to anybody because I feel so hopelessly dumb.

And I feel bummed! I have all this leftover Halloween candy. It was so cold here only a few trick-or-treaters came by. What do I do with all these gummy eyeballs?

And I want to know if anybody here is watching Torchwood. It rocks.

Oh, I feel like such a nerd. :)

"Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius."

Attributed. John Bartlett, Bartlett's Familiar Quotations (Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1855, 1980), p. 402.

I went ahead and wrote it here in the body of the post, as I frequently change my sig when the mood strikes me. :D

As far as Mozart and love are concerned, we know that his primary focuses are his immediate family and cousins in his early life, and his wife Constanze in the latter part of his life. Though I tried, I could not track down the exact ocassion on which he uttered this remark. I would tend to guess that he wrote in one of his letters, which were often playful, if not amorous. :)

Basically, I read the quote, and it made me think, which led me to post it in my sig. :)

Sorry for the rambling. . I did an extensive self-motivated independent research project regarding Herr Mozart when I was in high school (for fun). He's always been my favorite composer. :)

Don't feel stupid. . . we like you! And you're definitely not dumb. Sounds like you just need a shot of self-confidence! |G
