I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.
Sorry Menolly.Xar wrote:As a side note, if any of you intend to organize dealings with other deities that need not be strictly secret, consider posting them in the game thread, so that observers such as Menolly can read them, please. Thanks!

Death To All Fanatics!
If you desire - one of my prophets has apparently committed suicide by casting himself into a fire and the fool chastus who stood before the gates of Aven berry berating me has turned out to be nothing more than an empty shell sent against me by an unknown master for purposes of their own. And that is just what I choose to tell you - the more personal matters are no better.Bhakti wrote:I got mine. There is nothing much for me to say, other than details regarding the plague that corrupts the King's lands and the results of my experiments to better all life.
"Oh of course," the Navigator said with faint mocking in his voice, "you have probably heard of House Praetus. We have a palace on Holy Terra. Like all powerful groups, we also have our enemies. Do you honestly think someone like you matters?" - A dissolute noble.
Well, how you plan to deal with that situation is your own choice, obviously... if worst comes to worst, you can always pass the anvil on to the deity best suited to deal with this kind of situations. As for where I come up with this stuff... I have a very fertile imaginationMurrin wrote:On the subject of the latest development among my followers: How the hell am I supposed to deal with that? It's just plain weird. Where do you come up with this stuff?
(funny coincidence too, because I was reading Latro in the Mist yesterday and...)

No, I would keep the actions deadline on saturdays anyway, this gives me more time to process the results. Besides, there are always a couple of deities who send their moves in late, so I'd rather avoid receiving them after I process the turnjastrau wrote:Would that push the actions dealine to sunday?

Well, actually...Murrin wrote:Oh now that's not fair.![]()
I made it quite clear (or at least clear enough) that only those who believed themselves undeserving of the paradise I grant to the dead and those who committed more notable crimes would be consumed.
You just want people to hate me, don't you?
Given that you didn't really give me standards for "good" or "evil" except insofar as saying that "significant sins such as violence and murder will forfeit his reward", I'd assume that quite a few souls were consumed. For example, many of Vadhaka's people are murderers - so they're snacks. What of Adomorn's followers who fought the dwarrows over a misunderstanding? Unprovoked violence? Snacks? And what of Nor Yekith's Houka? Snacks? Not to mention that any deity has his own share of "evil" worshipers, however small, and therefore anyone would suffer the loss of some soulsMaeror wrote:The souls of the dead shall be judged, but in a way that allows many to determine their own fate. If a soul truly feels that he has led a good life and is deserving of a reward, he will be granted an afterlife appropriate to him, as Maeror gave to Jarrow; unless his mind is deranged and he has been unable to see the evil in his acts. If he believes himself evil, his actions shall be judged: if he has lived a good life, and is wrong to see himself thus, he will be rewarded. If he has performed some evil act but has truly regretted and made effort to make up for it, he will be rewarded. If a soul does not believe it is good, but still feels deserving, he will be judged on his actions--significant sins such as violence and murder will forfeit his reward.
Those who are not rewarded, will be consumed, their souls destroyed and the power within absorbed by Maeror.
