yes i'm STOKED. i presented my paper idea for my two classes last night to my teacher/mentor/advisor and he was EXTREMELY excited!!!!
said it was an excellent idea and sounds like i definitely CAN get a Masters thesis out of the preliminary work i'll do for this paper!!! i'm stoked about THAT too! and for some reason, it makes me less nervous meeting SRD. crazy huh. but...it's something to do with having an "original idea" i think.
my teacher says it could be (and i'll have to do further research to know for certain but) it could be original work. NO ONE ELSE has written about it to his knowledge, in the way i intend to write about it. so it makes me not feel so intimidated around SRD because now i've had at least ONE original thought in my writing life!! so YES!!!
i'm STOKED!!! :bounce03:

I should road trip down... (I'm totally good at inviting myself places where I'm not wanted... see? :P)

If I leave friday night, how long do ya'll think it would take to get there??

Edit: According to mapquest, the drive from me to Sanfran is 12 hours and 59 minutes.

I bet I could make it in 11. MAYBE 10.... depending on traffic. ;)

I'm sorry Wadds, but honestly I had to tell several volunteers no already and they are peops who have been on the show a few times. I wish I could have everyone here....sigh....there's always the FBH Finale party, I would love it if you come to that...and bring your pillow.

Most definitely. Big bribes.

And if that doesn't work; blackmail.

Possibly kidnapping a pet.

Blackmail is always good, but it might make him bitter. Bribes are better because then he'll be happier :) I want a happy SRD.

Well...he doesn't have any pets. But he does have kids...and I do have his son's cell number. Maybe I could convince Ross to come to the FBH finale party...

And here I thought I was having the best week ever and it turns out that LUCIMAY is the one. A brilliant thesis and her first SRD encounter....and I heard the thesis and I can assure you all that it is total GENIUS. I was awed by it.
