yes i'm STOKED. i presented my paper idea for my two classes last night to my teacher/mentor/advisor and he was EXTREMELY excited!!!!
said it was an excellent idea and sounds like i definitely CAN get a Masters thesis out of the preliminary work i'll do for this paper!!! i'm stoked about THAT too! and for some reason, it makes me less nervous meeting SRD. crazy huh. but...it's something to do with having an "original idea" i think.
my teacher says it could be (and i'll have to do further research to know for certain but) it could be original work. NO ONE ELSE has written about it to his knowledge, in the way i intend to write about it. so it makes me not feel so intimidated around SRD because now i've had at least ONE original thought in my writing life!!
