Feeling like it's gonna be an easy-going Saturday. About to go make waffles. That's one routine I don't mind repeating again and again!

Had a great night last night...me and the ol' lady cooked up some Angel Hair pasta with Garlic, olive oil asparagus and big scallops.
Had a big bowl of Ceaser Salad.
And some freshly smoked Salmon on crackers with onions, goat's cheese and cappers.
And we split a nice big bottle of wine.
Since it was at home, the whole thinkg cost less than fifty bucks.

Although, she's going out of province for the remainder of the long weeked :( .

Been pretty useless today, other than editing my Anthology entry and sending it back to Joy.

I thought I was going to begin my English essay, which is due the 21st, but it looks like it'll prolly be another last minute deal. That's fine, though; I usually thrive in those kind of situations. I never feel much push if the deadline is far off.

Good. Great concert last night, took a 3 hour ride on the Hog today. Good stuff.

It's Remembrance Day. Under an overcast sky, an already frigid day is made colder still by gusting winds. Around the ceremony grounds stand lines of dark, bare trees like honor guards themselves. As the cannons fire their salute, it doesn't take much to encourage thoughts about mortality and wasted life.

On a lighter note: cool avatar, James.

I am glad that you took the time to remember veterans today, Matrixman. :) People who are willing to make such sacrifices for their countries deserve every honor. :)

Though still not feeling entirely well, I am having a productive day. I dealt with something like six loads of laundry, packed up for our trip, made sure everything is set for the pets while we are gone, and made sure to give a good watering to the house plants. :) Even watched an interesting show on the History Channel called Civil War Terror with my younger son, as we are currently studying exactly that in our home schooling history. :)

Tomorrow we have to take the doggy to the kennel, go watch Patrick Stewart and the Royal Shakespare Company in The Tempest, then drive from the theater straight down to Muncie, so we can celebrate my older son's birthday. :)

Yes, my kids' birthdays are four days apart. What is really weird is that they both had Halloween as their due date. :) One was born fourteen days late and the other ten days late. Four years apart, of course. :)

We will be gone a couple of days. :)
Love as thou wilt.

Wow duchess!! Patrick Stewart Live!!! too cool!

It's raining today. But i did have a lovely sunny day yesterday when I needed it. Hanging at Hahei Beach in the Coromandel, and Cathedral cove. Gorgeous places! And off to Hot Water Beach that evening...yes, as it says...there are literally hot springs under the sands on the beach, so you sit like a five year old digging into the sand to make your own pool & moats and let the hot water mix with the ocean water for a natural spa!! Only thing missing was the gin & tonic I left in the car...and I didn't wanna relinquish my primo spot on the beach. So I had it AFTER the tide came back in and washed my moat to buggery!!

I will be back into full Gap mode soon, guys...I get back to work on the 27th so I'll have plenty of time to post (for free..heheh)

Waddley Hasselhoff wrote:I feel wonderful! I'm heading home now, and should be gone all weekend!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Jenn, Luci, don't get banned while I'm gone. Sea, Sorus, Jwan, Lyr and all my other girls... make sure Jenn and Luci don't get banned.

I'll try, Wadds! By the way, I dreamed about you today. . . and Loremaster too! I had my first ever KW dream. And it was hilarious! :D

Then immediately following that, I dreamed that I was transported to the Land, along with a group of people I know. In the midst of things happening, I found myself crossing an ethical boundary I never would have in Real Life. Eep! 8O When I realized what I had done, I felt like I had totally screwed up and would have a lot of mess to straighten out, and apologies to make. But in my dream at least the Land was pretty. :D

And now. . . I am very tired. I need to get to bed soon. Hope everyone is able to enjoy the rest of the weekend. . . for as long as it lasts! :D
