well...

first get yahoo messenger as that is where we meet to see who wants to play, you already have msn tho right? i have msn as well, im me on msn and i'll add you as buddy...then, when we get on to play, i'll im you if you're online...

then...

you DO need a yahoo id to get into the games site so sign up with yahoo and get a yahoo id

then...once you sign it to yahoo

the path is games / board games / literati

we play most every night except i didn't play not one game yesterday because i am sick with some horrible flu thing which kept me in bed with a horrendous fever untill just a few minutes ago (its 3:43 a.m. here)

but please do come play with us VS...you can't get my flu from online scrabble!!
 *sniffles, blows nose, coughs, sneezes, blows nose again*

have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

friday night scrabble

Lucimay - 84

Creator - 193

Lyr - 178

yes. they killed me
they were neck and neck all the way around the track race fans
Creator pulled it out at the end as per usual.
(and i don't want to see that in the DE thread either Esmer or dAN!)

we missed MM, Murrin, and Seareach tonight but
Creator traveled all week and was tired and i need
some serious rest myself so...only one game this evening

First game Saturday night:

Going into Lyr's last turn, the score was
Lucimay 87
Peter 141
Aelyria 57
Matrixman 86

In a surprise last move (before which Lyr conferenced with Seareach, who in turn decided to take Peter's boastful 2-1 odds $25 USD bet that Lyr could not possibly come from last place and win the game) Lyr came back with a 7 letter word--SIGNETS--with a two 3L and a 3W score. With bingo bonus the word score was 74. Since there were no letters remaining, Lyr had ended the game in that move. Lyr gained an additional 16 points for leftover letters. She gained 90 points in her last turn.

Final Score:

Lucimay 81
Peter 138
Aelyria 147
Matrixman 79

Lyr waxes eloquent: In the middle ages fate was pictured as a wheel, and the lady Fortune was its mistress. She stood, constantly turning the wheel, deciding one's fate. The wheel of fortune revolves with great frequency--those on top can suddenly find themselves at the bottom--and vice versa. Today I rose from the bottom to the top suddenly. . . tomorrow I may fall precipitously. It was ever so.

It was the most spectacular finishing move I ever saw! Excellent reporting of the game.

One more game was played:

Matrixman - 174
Lucimay - 167
Creator - 134

It was a good and relatively fast game.
