You too, huh? How's that 60 mph wind going for ya? ;) I had to haul cinder blocks from the basement this morning to weigh down stuff on our deck. I wouldn't mind some snow in place of this tropical-storm-type weather we're having.

Uhhh, well, I guess I can ask Matrixman how things are in Winni-town...however; here in Halifax we've been getting pretty much weather like you guys have been getting.
New Brunswick is supposed to get dumped on this weeekend, but none here.

BTW being on the roads 12-14 hours per day, I'm not a big fan of the snow.

But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

We just back back from a tree-lighting ceremony in our little village's town square. Santa lit the tree with his "magic". My wife and a passed out hot cider and cookies. Fun!

We had been snow-deprived since Halloween, but finally got more just in the last week. And more is predicted for Saturday. It's gonna be a cold weekend, too. "Winterpeg" feels normal again. :)

This is from last weekend's batch of photos:

Lore, considering our earlier discussion on snow, I thought you might be interested in this man's area of research.

You may have to go north for good snow, though I understand Anartica has now become somewhat of a tourist spot--at least for those on cruise ships and such. :? :)

Speaking of colored snow, and avoiding it, has anyone ever made snow ice cream?

Solar ovens are awesome! Some people actually use them to cook their food on a daily basis. Free (energy) is good, yes? :)

Dang, sorry for mixing your places of residence up. However, I thought the east coast was getting hit pretty hard by snow.. no?

And really nice photo Matrixman.

A little dusting here last night. Nothing to put me in the mood...
