OK, Michael. I took "Loremaster" off the header of your story.

What should one put in the BIO?
How should it be laid out?
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

In the last one, some people told a little about themselves, and others told a little about how the story came about. Or, you could do both. If I think it's too long I'll discuss it with you.

Bio Alert

Post by Dragonlily »

The layout is done, except for any bios I haven't received yet. Once aTOMiC resurfaces, I will be ready to send the Anthology to him.

I am very pleased with the quality of the stories we have gotten.

I have no bio. I don't really exist. I'm a figment of my own imagination.

Out of curiosity, if the layout is finished how do we stand now? What's left to do, do we have an estimate of when the Anthology will hit the "virtual shelves"? I'm not sure how long it would take for it to be printed and shipped outside the US (I think at least a week or two), and I'd like to know if there's hope of getting it by Christmas or not :P

I've run a first draft format on A2. I'll send it to Joy. There will probably be a few tweaks (I didn't see a credit for the cover art. I left the comment in with the name blank) Once that is done the document and cover art can go to Jay for upload and then that'll be it until someone notices an error and we make a revision. If Jay gets this thing in the next couple of days there should be no issue with getting copies before Christmas.

The predicted ice storm hasn't materialized, so it looks like I will have electricity. I do have a dentist appointment today. Hopefully I'll be up to skimming over it this evening.

Not to be a pain, but any news? Just yesterday I checked with Lulu.com and apparently if I want to get the Anthology in time for Christmas, I have to order it by Thursday at most... :P

Not to worry. ANTHOLOGY II was delivered to Jay this morning. He should have the new account placed on LULU possibly as early as today. Short of a real problem the book should be available before thursday.

While I am proud to have been the one to tell Jwaneeta her FANTASTIC cover was selected, I admit we are both kind of surprised she wasn't informed by the submission committee.
