Queea, why not restart? I mean, you can create a new god.Queeaqueg wrote:One way or another, I will be dead. Either the armies of Nor and Norn invade, which will lead to my followers running away, converting or being killed thus leaving me open to attack... or I just pull out.

Wait, hang on. Bhakti never said those things during the first game. Hmmm, I must be mistaken. In Pantheon I, Bhakti wrote:Oh woe is me, woe is me! I am weak and other gods keep attacking me. I have to use all my power to defend myself so I can't proselytize or build cities or start events of my own. I'm going to pull out of the game because things aren't going my way.
Look Quee, I know it sucks when you're under siege from all directions, but that's just part of the game. You win some, you lose some. Nephirthos was the big cheese last time around, this time around your just a small fry compared to the likes of Nor Yekith and others. Whinging about it just seems kinda silly.
Other gods didn't attack my father. That damned Northern King did, after he helped Avatar's followers hide from the King's unwarranted attack. But he became a follower of my father's in the end.
Of course, Neph and that War god created a civil war in the Kingdom, and blah blah blah, then BOOM!

I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.
I haven't weighed in on this yet, but I gotta agree with majority. It's not like it's the end of the world Quee.
Like Xar said, you live with the consequences of your actions. This is a cause and effect universe.
Start a new deity, or play out the old one, but it's all part of the game, so take it as such. Complaining or crying "woe" not only doesn't help, but it makes it less fun. And this is supposed to be fun, not serious.
So start having fun.

Death To All Fanatics!
You could always go and find yourself some allies. Admittedly I'm not a fan of yours, but there are others who aren't too fond of Nor Yekith who'd probably be happy to reach some sort of agreement with you. Bhakti for instance. Hell you could give up being God of the Undead to Argothoth and just remain the God of War in exchange for an alliance.
I agree with Xar

That sounds good !!!Norn wrote: You could always go and find yourself some allies. Death is the threshold through which life eternal is reached.
Saving Eiran is the main reason for existing.

I would like to point out that Abomination's Womb is not on the map.
"Oh of course," the Navigator said with faint mocking in his voice, "you have probably heard of House Praetus. We have a palace on Holy Terra. Like all powerful groups, we also have our enemies. Do you honestly think someone like you matters?" - A dissolute noble.

I love the roleplay in pantheon, so that's why I tend to 'spam' the game thread so much. If that bothers the other players, please say so here. I don't want others to think that I am dominating the game (post wise), but I would love it if more gods participated in the thread.
