Expert Ted used to take the Amtrak down from Eugene when we were dating and I would pick him up from the depot at the Ferry building.

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

That sux! I am working on talking Igor into making it a four day weekend for us. That would give me an extra day to perhaps watch the extended version LOTR film trilogy back to back while lounging on the airbed which I will have blown up in the living room in front of the big tv. I think that will be my cambozola, seeded baguette and grapes day.... with fruit topped flan cake.....
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

we need a consensus on which location is preferable to the MOST number of Watchers as far as the Elohimfest.
we can combine in June with Fantasy Bedtime Hour Wrap Party because SRD is definitely attending that...OR
we could schedule a different date other than in the month of June in Albuquerque where SRD lives and we may be able to get him to attend THAT since he lives there. Danlo lives there too. other authors may be available as well to attend Elohimfest (according to danlo)
I agree that consensus would be great! I'm only making one trip out west, so if we decide on a different date in NM then that's the one that I'm attending.
Ok, Fantasy Bedtime Hour. I saw it about a year ago when it was posted here on the Watch.
June sounds great for me. Any date, either city. Just let me know when and where and I will be there.
I went to the first Elohimfest in Albuq. and it was a beautiful city. I have never been to SF (even though I am a native Southern Californian) and would like to see it. I vote for SF.

In terms of picking dates: just fyi the official website has SRD booked at SoonerCon June 8-10, where he will be the Guest of Honor. (
(If it's neck and neck, then I lean my insignificant weight towards ALB. SF is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't ... heck, I wouldn't want to visit it again either.)
Conversely, I'm not so keen on Albuquerque. Well, this might be a bust for me no matter what city it's in: I'm going to quit my job at the end of next year, so I need to not be throwing money around unless it's for school. *pout*
