The last time we "decorated" for Christmas, we never actually took the decoration down. It's been sitting there for about 2 years now.

Of course, all it consisted of was put a Santa's elf hat on the cardboard Legolas cutout that stands in the back of the living room...

Yeah, we're that bad. And proud of it.
In college my suitemates had a Luke Skywalker cardboard cutout that we called "Wormy." We dressed him for every season, every holiday, and posed him in every holiday picture we took. It was such a tradition for us. . . it was sad when we finally sold him in a garage sale a few years after graduation--for $1, I think, to a kid across the street. Poor Wormy had a creased neck by then, so he would rather look at you for a second, then is head would droop onto his chest. That thing was the source of much silliness. :P

Unfortunately my Christmas Wormy pictures are strored on cd somewhere, but I was able to pull up a picture of my suitemate dancing with Wormy. Notice the dorm-room decor. . . I won't tell you what year that was. :D

Well, I still find the day special. I like having the family over. It is good that it is only one day of the year(or week) because 1. We would all become poor quick 2. It would lose its specialness

I flippin love Winterval, cept for all the cooking. I must have spent atleast 10 hours quartering mushrooms this year and don't get me started on the nuts....
The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.
