Nothing wrong with instant gratification. It's right there.

Beorn's response to receiving the Wii and the game was all I could have wanted. And, he is willingly waiting to try it out, since it is coming home with us instead of staying here, where he only gets to play with his consoles four times a year or so.

I just got a Wii. Yay. It's pretty nice so far. Although I'm mainly waiting for the more awesome games to come out (Wario Ware and Smash Bros).

But it's a fun little system. Hopefully developers use the whole motion-sensing thing to the maximum potential.-jay

Yes Wario Ware. January 15th 2007.

It's going to be epic.

I love Wario Ware. Its gaming style was just made for the Wii.-jay

I just can't get Beorn into any of the Mario/Wario games. From Donkey Kong on, he has no interest.

Wario Ware isn't really a Mario game. It's a bunch of crazy 3-second long games played in quick succession. It's random, crazy, and a ton of fun. Most of fun is just figuring out what the heck you have to do next.

It's one of the best, most innovative games I've played in years. I'd recommend it for anyone.

Of course...if you do end up getting it and hating it...don't blame me. Heh.-jay

I had a play on Trauma Center: Second Opinion on the Wii at the weekend, it's great! It's good on the DS, but it's so funny on the Wii, especially if there are a few of you playing, this webcomic sums the experience up rather well

Obviously I'm wrong but that's how I read it.

I saw the console or maybe the controller a few months ago.
It looks dumb.

I finally got to play on the Wii last night. Oh how I laughed at the people who tried to sue Nintendo after breaking household objects and injuring family members with the Wii controller. Turns out that wrist strap isn't just for show. I was on a mini game where you have to put the controller down, then pick it up at the right time and hit a ninja with your sword. For some reason I took the strap off when controller down, only for it to slip from my grasp and bounce of three of the apartment's walls. I've got to hand it to Nintendo though, they make those things tough!
