It all makes sense now. I have no clue who directed it, I just thought that Ozzie Davis and Bruce Campbell were friggin brilliant. The cinematography was amazing and the whole film was amazing. I loved everything about it.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....
overrated? nah. They are just damn good films. I think some people view them as overrated because people talk about them so much, but there is a reason why they are talked about. And I'm not talking about talking about someone like Britney spears alot as being a good talked about, I mean intelligent talked-about...
(ak, I think I just bit my tongue...)

Field of Dreams is the most overhyped/overated movie. read the book and see how it should have been done. Costner and James Earl Jones were horribly miscast. the movie glosses over any true feeling and turns on the syrup. horrible film.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.John Stuart Mill
If one reviews the actual list, one would find that the individual entries actual have shortish explanations for their inclusion and a rebuttaal to each inclusion, BUT the list is just an opinion survey.

Braveheart is hardly overrated. Sure, it's not 100% accurate (like where the Hell is the freakin' bridge at the Battle of Stirling Bridge?!?), but it is a powerful, powerful film. It deserves more praise than it gets.
