I think Tazzman's taking a break from the Watch, so you might not get a response for a while, Rev. I think you might be right guessing Tamarantha (Mhoram's mother), though. Can't check.

i cant check in what context he said it now though. i think it was when they were discussing whether to bring TC back during the siege in TPTP.
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

To Answer Revans question.
I beleive it was our main protagonist Thomas Covenant.
The first time was to the littleboy who handed him the letter from the man in the Ochre robe.






(sniff) and I was that little boy!!
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time
