I didn't blame Nor for the second outbreak! Nor began denying it before anyone had even suggested it was him, and I still haven't suggested it was him. I just said that you spread the other plague in my lands, and, if you do it again, I'll blame you again. Where is the paranoia?Loremaster wrote:Bhakti is the bad one when his paranoia gets so bad that Nor becomes the blame for everything. Go ahead and blame him for the second outbreak, but just don't expect Nor to react kindly.Fist and Faith wrote:Eh? Bhakti never accused Nor Yekith of either creating any plague, or of spreading it in Thellar. However, it is a fact that Nor Yekith spread it in Bhakti's lands when he exploded his plague-carrying Houka there. How is Bhakti the bad one here???

Okay, I realise that Xar has asked for this to be dropped, but this response is not pointing the finger at you. Nor wrote that as he was simply trying to lay off any accusations that were certain to come on the second plague. Give the events of the last outbreak, I am certain the accusation would have been made eventually. That doesn't imply Nor is guilty, just clever enough to know what will be said. And if anything, it was a convenient tool to state the Oath to clear his name.Fist and Faith wrote:I didn't blame Nor for the second outbreak! Nor's misunderstood!Jove wrote:Yes, the oath helps. But, I agree, perhaps we should focus on other things. All plagues do not originate from Nor. It's just that being the malicious little devil that Nor is, it is easy to blame him.

I finally have office software. The spreadsheet is back! Just updating everything and working out where I stand for this turn. Ooh! Rank 6!
(Of fifteen active players atm, the majority are at Rank 5, followed by the newbies mostly standing at Rank 2. There are two even newer players still on Rank 1, and a single player each at ranks 6 and 7. Seems the levelling tends to happen at a fairly consistent pace across the board, ignoring the occasional glitch and with one or two exceptions.)

Indeed, it's all the modifiers I don't envy anyone having to keep track of!
Simply comparing populations and Ranks tells us that some big things have happened to some deities. Good big things for some, bad big things for others.

I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.

I don't think it's that simple. Xar mentions the strength of your followers worship at the start of this thread.Murrin wrote:Well, Rank just depends on number of followers, and aside from modifiers based on actions and events, i think there's a base growth per turn; so supposing you don't take significant losses on any particular turn, you'd expect things to move at a similar pace all around.
So Queeaqueg lost two DRP after I attacked his cities on Landir because the strength of his followers worship of him waned, even though he still had the same number of followers.Xar wrote:You gain or lose divine ranks based on the number of your "worshipers" in the world. This number is a measure of the power the worshipers provide you with prayers and faith, rather than actual demographics: a low number may reflect a small number of fanatic followers or a large number of tepid followers.
