What are you doing/did you do this weekend?

Post by Waddley »

What are you doing this weekend?? I really want to know! You should tell us every weekend! Or you could get ideas on what you could do if you don't have anything planned! I like using exclamation points!

Anyway, this weekend I am going to go apartment hunting with my brother, and do my taxes. Both things I am really excited about. I love looking at apartments because it's fun to see all the possibilities and get excited to move, and I love doing my taxes because it's almost like free money! (That I already earned... bah... anyway... it still rocks to get it back) I also might go to Ikea with my bro to check out furniture options. I'm going to need a new bed when I move, because a little twin mattress on the floor just ain't cutting it. I'm going to look into getting a nice futon, so that I can have a small bed when I need it and larger if I have friends crash over at my place (SLUMBER PARTY!!) It would save space in my room too, for my computer and TV.
I'm also supposed to go to a concert with a dude on Saturday, but I don't really want to because I don't want to see him any more. So that's not quite so much fun, but it's just one of those things.

What are you all doing, friends?

heh. what i'm always doing. writing a paper.

i took an incomplete for 19th Cent Lit so that i could get an A instead of a B in the class. teach said if you want the A, write me a paper on Faulkner.
so...have to turn it in first day of class on monday. will write it on saturday and sunday.

and play scrabble no doubt. grocery. possibly go to Green Apple Books to ditch some of those paperback mysteries i had to read for last semester.
i love trading books!!! it's almost like free books!!! i like exclamation points too!!!

:::sigh:::

Still moving stuff from one abode to the other. We're out of the townhouse at the end of the month, so it needs to get done. Then comes the major unpacking and arranging. I hate living out of boxes!!

Nothing special until Sunday, when I'll go out to watch da Bears go on to the Super Bowl (hopefully).

I'm picking up my wife and kids from the airport tomorrow :D , It's been a looooong three weeks.

Sunday will probably consist of stocking up the fridge, cos I've been living on takeouts the last 3 weeks (not because I can't cook, just didn't feel like cooking for one), followed by shopping for a new wardrobe, as space for clothes is at a premium now.

And spending any spare time (what's that?) playing with my kids.

I have Saturday and Sunday off this weekend, which is unusual. Catching up with a friend on Saturday afternoon and then going to a workmates 22nd birthday later that night. Sunday will consist of the usual being lazy and doing not a hell of a lot.

Today I will be catching up on errands and housework. Tomorrow I hope to relax at home as much as possible, and probably go out to dinner. Sunday I will be working, as usual.

Since it is snowing (at last!) I might get the sleds out of the garage rafters and go sledding tomorrow afternoon! 8) :D We have a couple of good hills in the front yard, so I do not have to go far to hit the slopes!

Going to the horse expo in Timonium on Saturday. Sunday will be for laundry and cleaning-the house, and I think I'm gonna go ride Angel unless the weather's really bad, because I haven't seen her for over a week (Maybe she ought to get some rainrot like Busby did - I saw him almost every day this week to treat it. My poor, neglected horses. :( )

Haha, nah! Rule One is, and has always been, do whatever Lucimay tells you to do!

But if Lucimay isn't around, Waddley will step up to the plate!

I'm going bowling tomorrow night.

Good to be me this weekend, I think.
