The two domain limit was only a starting limit. Several deities already acquired new domains in one of three main ways:

1) By paying DRPs to establish themselves as gods of a new domain;
2) By having their own followers spontaneously begin to worship them as patrons of a new domain;
3) By committing deicide.

Of course, too many domains are never a good thing - because while it means more power, it also means you're far more likely to be weakened whenever something happens that is the opposite of one of your domains ;)
Cool thanks. Was just checking. :D I like consistency. ;)

So did we all agree to the wish for more DRP this turn Xar, and if so, does someone have to send the request through?

Technically it's up to Simjen to send the request. So as soon as he thinks everyone agreed and nobody is missing, he can send the request to me.

You call this a vacation?!?!? :LOLS:
I'm doing a ton of posting an pming this week because I'm on vacation. I didn't take off work for any specific reason, it was just one of the only weeks left on the calendar by the time it got to me. (I have lowest seniority at work, so am the last to get to choose. :() But, as it turns out, it was a HELL of a good week to have had off!! Holy cow, this game is NUTS!!! An abomination that can kill a god? This wish? A war between Maeror and Adomorn & Undine?

And I don't mind telling you, when Yek revealed that he had done something to Zephyr, my heart ran cold as ice! I'm not kidding in the least!! I have three kids, and I can't help but make associations. This game takes you over! :lol: My blood pressure must have been higher this week than it's ever been in my life! :lol:

Anyway, I'm working again next week, so back to normal activity here. I'll still be on more than my normal today (although I have a meeting at my son's school in a few hours), but I just wanted to let everybody know what's going on.

A war between Maeror and Adomorn & Undine?
That was NOT a war, it was just a little disagreement between friends :twisted: !

I'm with you on the general sentiment though! Can't really remember how I spent my time before Pantheon, and that hiatus was weirdly boring!

Xar - is it possible to 'store' DRP for next move? So if we don't get these extra points, but I want to do something that'll cost say 7 DRP, can I put two aside this turn, and use my 5 next turn along with these 2?

I posted in the game thread (though no one commented on it) that the power should not be saved up for future use.

I think the power should be used now and if it is not used, then forfieted.

(Then again, it isn't for me to say :wink: )

Xar has said before (to me, at least. can't remember if I asked publicly) that DRP cannot be normally set aside for use on another turn.
Said she, "What I get I get out of the fire,
So prithee, strike home and redouble the blow."

I would be surprised if we could store DRP's for future use. Sorry, Jove, I didn't see the post where you said that.

Indeed, Simjen is right: you cannot "save" DRPs for future use. You cannot, for example, "save" your DRPs for three turns and then play a turn as an "overgod" with 20 DRPs. You can, of course, choose not to allocate some or all of your DRPs for a single turn, but those DRPs will simply be wasted, they won't go into some "DRP bank".

As a side note, I must say I'm impressed that a number of deities has discovered what I would unofficially call the "second level" of actions in this game... regardless of whether you're among those or not, the simple fact that at least four, if not more deities have stumbled upon this "secret" is going to make things MUCH more interesting...

I'm one of the stupid ones who looks at The Four in envy. I have no idea what he's talking about.

Which might explain Bhakti's perpetual troubles.

I really don't know to what level I'm playing this game, or how my playing compares to others. Sometimes I think I'm taking it too simplistically.
