Well, as for what I did this weekend. It was almost entirely to no good.

Pantheon just got A LOT more interesting.

Otherwise, I explored Dumpster Diving online; it seems, ummm, interesting. I don't know about diving for food, but for building materials? Now THAT is something to consider....

I saw my youngest on saturday, and he asked me to take him to my octopus, where I work. I said, "do you mean my office?" He said, "No, where you work!"

That's cute :)

I moved... yay! My lil bro and sis (4 and 6) helped... kinda. It was cute, they wanted to carry everything.

I also listed my engagement ring for sale online. I figured it's been a year, that's about long enough for keeping the damn thing. So... if anyone wants a diamond ring, we can talk. It's nice. ;)

I also replaced the TPS in my car, but I don't know if that's fixed my problem. My idle is still low and my engine doesn't start still when I turn my car off. Part of me is thinking that the latter problem is due to the alarm being all wanky. I'll get it looked at as soon as I have money.

What did you do, friends?

Yeah, especially as he's my youngest, I won't be hearing it again until I'm a grandfather. He told my dad "I yuv you a yot", which the kids corrected, and he then said it again, corrected, which is nice, but also a damn shame.

Um. I'm reluctant to commit to anything when it's likely I won't follow through, but as of this moment of weakness, I'll be writing too.

Well, I've finally got some time free time on my hands (wacko!). So I'm getting back into writing a bit more. So I'm hoping to get some writing done on the weekend!

I've also decided that it's been far too long since I read The Gap so I've started rereading that and plan to devour it over the weekend (although I read so slowly I'll probably still be reading it in a years time! :P )

I don't think I've ever posted in the Gap forum!! But, yeah, once I've read some of it I certainly will drop by.

I'm so looking forward to rereading it because it'll be almost like a new book to me (yes, I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't read it for YONKS!)

Depends on the weather, but I think I'm gonna go to the harbor and run. I wanna get back to doing 8-10 miles/day.

Got my clock cleaned.

Always let your kids win 'till they become teenagers. Then show 'em who the boss is.

Don't know about that let the kids win theory, my Dad always said that if I wanted to beat him at chess then I better well earn it.

I had multiple birthday celebrations that I attended. For those of you familiar with the show, a large group of us went out for a combo dinner Friday night to celebrate Terry (Atrium) and Heatherly's birthdays. Attendee's included, Seth (Lord Mhoram), Steve (Thomas Covenant), Canaan (guest expert), Karen (Osondrea/lead ranyhyn), Tadhg (resident supreme expert), Niall (guest expert), Arthur (Birinair). There were also guests that have not participated in the show. Saturday night there was a party at guest expert Lev's house to celebrate resident supreme expert Tadhg O'Higgins' birthday. Pretty much all the same peops as listed above with a bunch of other people including only one other person who has been on the show, Laura (Tamarantha). Then on Sunday I took Terry for a private birthday celebration and treated her to brunch and then a movie, "Epic Movie" to be exact.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Very good friends of mine got married last weekend. That was quite a celebration. Good food and a lot of dancing. A large group of us were in the hospitality suite at the hotel until 3:00 am. :)

This weekend will be, aside from the Super Bowl, a mellow weekend by comparison. I've got a book I've got to finish up by Sunday, I've got to return it to the library on Monday. Other than that, there's not much on the agenda.

8O Gosh! I don't remember!

...oh cleaned house, put the Xmas lights away, posted on the Watch, walked the dog and child, played with said child, had my architect over to measure, bought my first copy of Wired (trying really hard to reach geek status!), read the Algebraist, posted on the Watch, did laundry--watched The Guardian with Tam, played with said child... 8)

Go Colts!
