I was led to understand that there was one before but was removed due to a few complaints.

I'll wager one thousand WGDs that it's releashed on Oct. the 22nd which would also be Labor Day in NZ, which further implies that; if so, Vain has a MAJOR in with SRD's publishers

I voted "yes". We could have it count down to the date listed on Amazon.co (is that the 18th of October or something). Could always change it later...but, yeah, I'm happy to watch everyone be constantly reminded of how much longer they've got to wait!

I mean, I can understand hating bird clocks. Even I hate THOSE things.

But countdown clocks? I can't even picture the 'Tank fella's finding any dissagreement there!

Oops, that was me. I totally mis-read the question! I thought it asked if I *have* a countdown clock.

I am on pins and needles waiting for the next book, however and think a countdown clock is an excellent idea. Move my vote if possible. hehe
