Cate Blanchett is riveting (n' sexy too...as always)! Dame Judi Dench is great too. Won''t give anything away, but it is OScar Worthy!!!

Seriously?!?? The previews looked like the stupidest thing going! Teacher has affair with student; other teacher finds out and blackmails the first. Or something along those lines. We always hope previews don't give away everything, but it would take a lot more than that to get my interest. So there's more?

It is an acting clinic, F&F. Very powerful stuff. The narrative structure and convention reminded me of A Clockwork Orange, and both Dench and Blanchett turned tour de force performances.

I'll add that to my list of "DVDs to watch", but I only go to cinemas for big SPFX epic stuff...the drama/emo stuff I save for the small screen.

I thought it was a solid film, well acted, etc. But I didn't like Dench's characters arc or place in the film. Thought it could use a little suspense too. Still decent, though.
