Overall, I was disappointed in the commercials this year.

I liked the Emerald Nuts commercial...with Robert Goulet!

The Bud Light hitchhiker ad and the Late Show promo.

The Snickers ad...."Quick, do something manly!", and the Bud Lite "Rock, paper, scissors" ad.

Best of all time was Apple's Mac commercial that only aired once.

Both of the above commercials were great, but for the life of me I don't understand the greatness of the Apple 1984-based commercial (I think that's what you're referring to.)

I think what was so great about the 1984 commercial was that it was so different. It didn't show the product (or even try to sell it), and it was just visually stunning; unlike any commercial I'd seen up to that point. I remember watching it, and being stunned.

Some great ones.
The only one that made me laugh out loud though was the "Go Daddy" full version one.
The last few seconds were just perfect!
