Ok, but you can't be a person who gets seasick because I am sticking to what I have said since my divorce, If I EVER get married again it's a pirate wedding for sure. Everybody is gonna dress like pirates and we will rent a boat and go out to sea and at the end of the ceremony Gil and I will walk the plank.....

Feeling great. Some friends took me out to dinner last night to celebrate me getting a job interview. Then we chatted for several hours on God and AI. Great night.

Jealous!

Most of my friends are to pigheaded to have a REAL disscussion. They are far and few between.

Sounds like a great night!

It's a drizzly day here--yesterday hot, today cool! Trippy weather!

I gave my kidney's a good working out last night ;) and am paying the price for it this morning. However, all is good in the world of Sea!

Well...who knows why but I don't get hung over as such anymore (and I only have drinks once or twice a week) but I do get quite cranky. And my kidney's are aching...never NEVER a good sign!!

I'm suddenly feeling... I don't know. Disillusioned? I think it's the tiredness, but... I'm hanging somewhere between "fuck it all" and "what's the point", but in a half-hearted way.
...Definately the tiredness.

...It's a little like one of those moments where I realise how badly I've managed to screw something up. Like when I leave work until the last minute and realise I won't manage to get it done in time. Or when I think about Dust/The Last Knight/that thing I was writing, and realise I've not even tried to make any progress.

Yeah, sounds like tiredness to me! I have days like that but usually the next day (after a good night's sleep) I think "gosh, why was I feeling like that!"

Strange, but I usually get out of this kind of feeling through activity, not rest. I used to go out for walks in the middle of the night. The cold and the exercise usually snaps me out of it. Too cold and wet tonight, plus I really can't pull up the effort. And I'm so much in the habit of sitting flicking through webpages that--especially when I'm feeling like this--it's sometimes hard to actually pull myself away from it and go to sleep.
I can't help feeling that I'm getting worse when it comes to things like that. My attention span seems shot these days, but I can sit doing something mindless and repetitive for hours.

Ah. I'm the same with the web page thing...I look up stuff that I never really wanted to know...that kind of thing. But, there are nights (when I'm surfing looking at cr*p on the web) that I then say "Right Sea, get off the bloomin' computer and read a book." I do that and within half an hour max I'm asleep. Drag yourself away Murrin!!! :D
