Hmm. Since so much time was spent rping yourselves preparing to perform your last move, I have no idea how your characters are going to react to Miles, and my hand has been forced. Not to mention that he's dying there, and could've used some help.

Edit. Sorry about that. Partly comes from seeing that the turn was up and feeling rushed. Came out seeming petulant, and not just here publicly.

I was intending to try and meet up with Miles and maybe Joe, but after being burnt by Jove, I didn't dare risk unexpectedly approaching a highly trained and armed individual, particularly with an M16 slung over my shoulder.

Yeah, I've been trying to work out how to deal with that. I approached Manny the way I did because he'd taken stuff from military supplies; would've let off if he'd cooperated. I had wanted to treat you lot a bit better, but you're all taking stuff the same as he did. Maybe I'll go easy because I need the help.

(I confess, I started skimming the posts after they went on a bit and--thanks to the above misreading--didn't seem to have reached the military base yet. My mistake.)
