I'm feeling VERY sore. My brother and I tooka nice long bike ride downtown today. Although there were a few close calls (I know how to drive better than some of the a-holes out there, and I ride my bike) it was fun. Although it's all downhill, so the ride back was a bitch.
We played frisbee in the park, and bought some fociatta bread and a pear for lunch.
It was a calm and relaxing day.

The whole story is over 40 pages, but that one passage--roughly 4,000 words --took me nearly a month. Sometimes writing is on the fly, spitting out pages like a furnace. This was like ice-sculpting, and I got really tired of reading and writing in the same cramped space for several weeks.
Same old delivery job, same old company; different set up.
Picked up my brand new truck that another driver paid for on Friday.
He came down to my place to get all of the finner details straitened out, and even offered to sweeten the pot if the offer that we had agreed upon wasn't good enough.
I'm feeling great because of that.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

Congrats! I hope it works out for you.

It's like for once in my life things actually seem positive...you know..other than that whole Getting-married-and-having-three-kids-before-I'm-thirty thing.

It's a good thing you can look at it that way!
Some of my other friends would call the three kinds married bit a curse.

I feel sore and exhausted. I painted two rooms in my new duplex today--about 1.5 all by myself. I don't want to see another paint roller for years! Even after a long soak in a bubble bath I still feel like I've been beated with a stick.
On the bright side, I can now start moving the smaller things (as soon as they are packed). When I get most of the small things moved I'm going to rent a big truck and move my furniture. Ah. . . the fun never ends.
