I expect I'll be at the Rush one, even though it's outdoors in the freaking summer.

Farm-Ur Ted you have inspired me! I'm trying to remember every band I've ever seen, which started out fun but has now descended into annoyance as I'd assumed the internet would help with festival lineups and stuff like that to jog my memeory - it hasn't! (At least not the ones back in the 90's)

(Best moment to far, going through my CD collection, and remembering

I wish I'd gotten to see Johnny. (I should go see Merle Haggard some day, too, but I'm sure I won't.) I usually save my ticket stubs and stuff them in the front of a cd jewel case, so I'll see them periodically and it reminds me what I've been to. I don't go to shows that much anymore; most were during a 4-5 year period, and for whatever reason I can remember a lot of it.

Sorry. . . bet that would be a great show! I love Tool, and A Perfect Circle too! :D

I'm rather stoked, since tickets for the Police concert in St. Louis go on sale on Saturday. I could fork over an extra benjamin to join the fan club and get early tickets, but I think I'll take my chances. I've had a thing for Sting for nearly two decades, but if I miss him this time I'll catch him the next time around. But, having said that, I'm going to have the website open and credit card in hand the instant the tickets go on sale to the general public. ;)

Wow, that's a ton, Stonemaybe! You've got some great ones in there. I'm jealous about My Bloody Valentine. That must've been really cool.

In WI, we have a fesitval called "Summerfest" where for 2 weeks, there is nothing but music, beer, and food on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Great new acts, as well as old timers in most genres. Great stuff.

I think I've forgotten more concerts than I've seen.

In no particular order....

Live Aid, The Us Festival, April Wine, Accept, AC/DC, Andy Summers, Blue Oyster Cult, Aldo Nova, David Baerwald, Damn Yankees, Dokken, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Def Leppard, The Hooters, INXS, Duran Duran, Bad Company, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, The Firm, The Kinks, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Guess Who, Jefferson Starship, Poison, Van Halen, Van Hagar, Sammy Hagar, David Lee Roth, Genesis, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, BB King, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Whitesnake, Steve Vai, Peter Frampton, Cinderella, Winger, Aerosmith, Run DMC, The Beastie Boys, George Michael (was dragged to that one), Tom Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Neil Diamond, Ted Nugent, G 'n R, Metallica, Faith No More, Fishbone, George Clinton, Willie Nelson, Nelson, White Lion, Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Elton John, John Cafferty, Southside Johnny, Donnie Iris, Faster Pussycat, Cheap Trick, House of Lords, LA Guns, The Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio........

Gah, I know I'm still missing a bunch.

No, but I'll tell you what....The first time I saw him I think I was around 20. There were women in their 40s heaving their drawers at him left and right. If I'd had a MILF fetish at that point, I'd have been in heaven!

I can't remember all of them, but here's the highlights:

Rush 1990, 1992, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2005. :)
Pink Floyd, Yes, Robert Plant, Rolling Stones, Tool, Phish, Grateful Dead, Traffic, Dave Matthews Band, Guns & Roses, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Van Halen, Doobie Brothers, Primus, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, STP, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Black Crows, Living Color, Steve Miller, Kansas, Styx, Cheap Trick, Kiss, and lots of local stuff.

Monsters of Rock (Van Halen, Metallica, Scorpions, Dokken, Kingdom Come)
Lollapalooza '93 (Alice in Chains, Primus, Rage Against the Machine . . . can't remember the rest)

Hey Cail, you must have seen the same Cinderella tour I saw; I noticed you mentioned Winger right after them (the opening act). If I recall, there were three bands on that tour . . . the third being Bulletboys. Man, I went to some embarrassing shows in the 80s. But I remember being somewhat impressed with Cinderella. They actually had this very dark, "Satanic" vibe going on that surprised me. Very evil. I was expecting nothing but big hair 80s rock fluff.
