I am afraid I must decline. All of my affairs are directed within my realm, and as such, I have no interest in the politics of gods. Melirelle will no doubt send an ambassador, and I trust her judgement and actions will suit my greater interests there.

I might also add that I am assembling a naval force in the port city of Nor Leviathan. These will be warships, though purely operating within a defensive capacity. Trade will be conducted as normal, however, and my ships are under strict instructions to allow traders access to my ports (as well as leave).

Likewise, I am arming my main fleet in the event you and your allies decide to invade my realm. You saw what I did to Queeaqueg's land and his people. I am more than capable of shattering your lands, mutating your people into cripples, and transforming your forests into Entka.

I leave that as a warning to you.

Such has been your intention from the beginning. The only reason you have not done so already is that you are not yet powerful enough to do it to everyone. And doing so without obvious reason (as none argue existed with Quee) to only one would surely band the rest against you.

In any event, as always, you have nothing to fear from me. Love does not fight on the terms of its enemies. A fleet to protect you from me is a laughable notion. I would not allow my followers into your lands under any circumstances. I cannot imagine what horrors they would become at first contact. You are in an arms race by yourself, and none will be surprised when your fleet sails out to conquer. As always, I will continue to build and enhance my defenses, in the hopes of surviving against your invasion.

If I could ask the followers of all gods who are visiting Thellarr, please come via the Tears of Undine. If your ships pass beneath the waterfall on your way into port, it will help prevent any future outbreaks of plague. You will find that the sea currents in the area make this the easiest passage into Mai-e as well. Feel free to gather some of the waters as you do so. It's good stuff!

Visitors which do not do this may be subject to quarantine restrictions before they can enter Mai-e. We REALLY did not enjoy our outbreak of the plague!

Before any misunderstandings can arise, I will bring forward an event that has recently ocurred, of which I have just learned.

One of your worshipers sneaks into Argothoth's lands and, once there, approaches and attacks his Prophet, claiming that he has "come in Maeror's name to punish this blasphemy!". Valkoren dispatches him. Rumors of this story - warped and twisted by the telling - eventually reach your lands, and many - upon hearing of "an attempt made by Argothoth's assassins on the life of innocent worshipers of Maeror", stoke their hostility towards the God of the Undead.

I was not responsible for this act, but as you can see, it strongly resembles the attack against my own follower Glianneth (who has, thankfully and with much owed to those who aided me, been restored). I give my assurance that I will work to alleviate the hostility that has occured among my people against Argothoth in this matter; the word of my Emissary carries enough weight to sway the opinion of my people back to the correct path if they fall into such thoughts.


Aside from this, it will be known by some now that we have restored our most powerful and devoted follower, Glianneth, to life so that he may stand as our representative in Adomorn's temple in Sanctuary. This is done as a sign of our belief in the cause of peace and cooperation between the gods. We hope that more among you will choose to stand beside us in this.

To Hedra Iren, I give you my deepest apologies. As the Goddess of Law, you should have been consulted on my Judges. I felt, at the time, that Justice and Honor were all that would be required, but with some current events in Magran, I can see that a dose of Law would indeed be valuable. I will welcome and help and/or advice you can offer.

it seems that my platoon of Gaurds is not working out as we had planned, indeed some select Priests of yours take deep offense to my keeping the peace.

They have started to take to hanging "offenders" before a proper investigation and trial can take place.

I am a visitor and helper in your lands, so I will take any direct action you wish, however I feel it would be prudent for both of us to speak to the parties involved.

I will alert my Gaurds to the situation, and what your Priests will be ordered.

Yes, apparently our followers are not getting along as I had hoped. I just wish they could have acted this way when the diabolists were full strength. They acted like sitting ducks and did nothing to protect themselves.

I would appreciate it if you could please suspend any executions until we can work this out. My priests are dear to me and I do not wish for their deaths. I realize they took the law into thier own hands but it was the diabolists that your soldiers were charged to go after. It was diabolists that were to be executed, not my priests. The priests were, however, wrong to take matters into their own hands and for that, I feel they should be punished. Let us talk privately what that punishment should be.

My priests are charged with trading and making money, not being a police force. That is why you are there. I will remind the priests of their duties and tell them to leave the diabolists to you. If your soldiers understand that they are there to keep diabolism at bay and nothing else, then we should have an accord.

Regardless, I'm sure that we can have our followers come to an understanding.

Hail brothers and sisters of the Pantheon. I trust this greeting finds you well.

I am sad to have to inform you all that it appears that our efforts to repair the Fabric of Reality were not entirely successful. Whilst no new rifts have opened, a knot has formed in the Fabric in the vacinity of Henmil's Forest. Within the bounds of this "knot", blood rains from the sky, strange and twisted stone spires rise from the ground, and the very earth has reshaped itself into a sea of faces. Furthermore, the scent of intoxicating flowers fills the air, and a lashing wind buffets all who would brave the region.

I will be putting forth a part of my power to unravel this knot, thus returning the Fabric of Reality to its rightful form and banishing the manisfestations of unreality. I do not ask that you use your own power to aid me, but your collective blessings upon my work would be most welcome.

Please advise the All-Father if you choose to bless my attempts to restore reality to Henmil's Forest.
