I'm kinda cold, too. Went to get carrot-ginger soup for lunch from the cafeteria, to help me warm up. Took one slurp, found out they'd put coconut milk in it, and threw it out. (Speaking of spewing....)

Otherwise, not bad. One of my attorneys has been overseas for the past week for business. Today, Ukraine. Things have been very fluid with this case and so the flight/hotel arrangements keep changing. At one point last week, I was making (and changing *daily*) travel arrangements for eight people. Now I'm back to just keeping track of my boss. And he's only had me call the hotel in Kiev *once* today. Luckily they speak English. Sorta.

Other than that, Younger Daughter's complaining of a migraine again. Any suggestions, guys? She doesn't want to keep drugging herself up with ibuprofen and/or caffeine (she's really pretty good about staying away from caffeine), but not much seems to work for her. Anyone found a combination that works?

I feel intrigued! My friend Angel, and for those familiar with FBH it's Bannor, is entered in a Best Chest Calendar Contest tonight. He asked us to attend to support him. The contest is being held at a gay leather bar, a type of club I have never been to before. It will be a whole new experience I am sure. 8O 8O 8O  Julie is going too!

Now the only question is, what on EARTH should I wear?!!!? I have no idea what the appropriate attire for a straight female in a gay leather bar is.....

Actually I wear them all the time - they are extremely comfortable (the trick is to buy a pair that FITS properly and you'll never have any dramas!)

heheh - TMI, folks?

I have only set up the tripod and equatorial mount, so it's not the telescope.

Worried about something else.

Don't set yourself up for worries, Lore. Worrying about things only makes it worse. Believe me, it's easier just to take a deep breath and forgeddaboudit. Saves you wrinkles and heartburn as well... ;)

I'm on topamax for prevention of migraines, and I have zomig for my intervention medication. I used to use maxalt, but found it unrelaible. I adore zomig, though even with my insurance it costs me around $6.50 each tablet. If I have to take one, it is well worth it. As far as the topamax, my doctor doesn't have me on the right dose, and I am having some ethical issues with their office (they charged for labwork that wasn't done). In any case, I am going to be going to a specialty headache care clinic when I move in a few weeks.

Oh, forgot. . . lavender eye pillows work well for mild migraines for me. Also, I find pressure on the "bad" side lessens the intensity of the pain. Generally, lie down in a quiet dark place and see if you can sleep. A hot bath could be a good idea if she could stand it, since it would open up the constricted vessels and increase bloodflow. But let your daughter be your guide. Migraines are different for each person, and what works for me may not for her.

Hope the headaches get better. . .

As for me, I feel groggy. I took cold medicine (developing a sinus infection), and now I can barely keep my eyes open. Going to bed now. ..

Been eating too much fried chicken--Five Taste Chicken at Golden China yesterday and a crispy chicken sandwich at Wendy's today. Two days in a row! Oatmeal and jogging over the weekend will save me, I know it.

Me too!! For me it's been fried chicken and chicken strips with honey mustard sauce... for about the last two weeks in a row... maybe I'm pregnant. :? That would be unpleasant.

Ok, I'm off this damn slow public computer. No more interweb for me till monday!! :D

Oh, and I feel hungry. I want chicken.

I am exhausted ... lots going on ... 4 days in Houston for three meetings ... heading to NY tomorrow for a Monday meeting. Things going well in work ... keeping all the balls in the air ... but it would be nice to have a vacation.

*sighs*

I think I once knew what those were. I get a LOT of days vacation ... just don't take them. Then there are the 'family' visit vacations in past years ... somehow they drain me rather than energize.

Perhaps scrabble will energize me some ... before I wade into the work battle again ... if not, I suppose I can KILL sh*t in Diablo II - that sometimes releases some tension.

I'm feeling good. I re-organized my garage, and once the weather gets better, Jared and I are going to bring that crappy couch I have to the dump. Then I build my work bench! WOO!
