Vadhaka, in my misery, I have torn one eye out of my head, and seriously damaged the other. Would you please not use small type, as I cannot make it out.
I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.

There are two numbers indicating the strength of a god: the Divine Rank, and the Number of Followers. The Divine Rank is related to the number of worshippers but is not entirely dependant--it is influenced by strength of faith and other events.
This turn, Hedra Iren's number of followers fell from 4227 to 900. Xar says that she has not lost followers, but instead consumed some of her power to claim dominance of a season. This suggests that the number of followers also changes to reflect the strength of the god in other ways than the actual number of worshippers--which is a little confusing, IMO.
Oh, and hey--new territory! Hoorah.

The number of worshippers is an approximation which you might see as a "faith pool". A small number of fervent worshipers gives you the same "faith pool" of a large number of lip-service worshipers. When you use your power to become a monthly or seasonal deity, you sacrifice part of your "faith pool" which translates in a loss of divine ranks.Murrin wrote:Ah. So your number of worshippers doesn't reflect your actual number of worshippers? I thought it would only be the DRP that scaled in that way.
The number of worshippers is therefore the simplest method to calculate power; divine ranks are calculated according to the "faith pool", and as such are a more "artificial" stat which exists to give you an idea of how much you can do.

I'm still mystified by this whole divine rank and number of worshippers thing!
Anyway, nothing too contentious this turn, by the looks of things! Though I seem to have had a positive move and yet dropped 15% in worshipper numbers
.
I'm seriously considering manifesting this turn, to join in with a little cliff diving competition I've got going on......

I am extremely glad to have received the turn, although it would seem my events are not as peaceful as others.
Actually, my turn puts me in mind of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time - "Illana prepares to undertake her task (but that'll have to wait until the next turn)". "Another god starts to help you out (but you won't get any results until the next turn)". Should I just wait for the next turn, or will that have to wait for the next turn?

As for the deadline, I'm not sure. Chisi said she'd be back in two weeks, so the question is whether to ask you to turn in your moves by this weekend (and let turn 16 be released next weekend, if all goes well) or if instead to ask you to turn in your moves by next weekend (perhaps allowing Chisi to rejoin, in this case) and then have turn 16 be released in two weeks. What would you guys say?
Do you mean get the events two weeks after we submit moves? Or 1 week after we submit?
Obviously I'd prefer them 1 week after submission, whenever submission is, but I don't mind waiting to give Chisi a chance to submit, especially if you mean getting events 1 week after submission, regardless of when we submit.
