Yeah. Unfortunately we don't have a large lake with coastline in the city. But, both the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico are only an hour away, depending on if you head east or west!
The Wedding was end of July! The benefit was the girls were not wearin' much. Rowrf!!!

Following on from my (and when I say "my", I mean "the ones I found on Google) pics of the castle, I'll revive Infelice's city webcam topic. If you click the Nottingham one, it is currently pointing towards the castle (a little blob on a hill). The camera moves regularly though, so the view probably won't last long.

Do you mean the coeds out sunbathing at 'Broward Beach' on campus? Since it usually happens from Mid-March until right before Winter break, I understand that's quite the recruiting tool...

To compare and contrast to Cov Jr's Nottingham I should post some pics of our Walmart, a random trailer park, and a few of one of our gorgeous strip pits. Oh well, I still have Goober.

Famous Cheltonians include composer Gustav Holst, the explorer Edward Wilson (who joined Scott on his ill-fated Antarctic Expedition); physician Edward Jenner who invented vaccination; Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones; Duncan Boyes, and poet James Elroy Flecker.

I'm pretty sure that guy who invented the jet engine was from here too.

(Edit who the hell is Duncan Boyes?)

According to Wikipedia:
Duncan Gordon Boyes VC (November 5, 1846–January 26, 1869) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He won the award at Shimonoseki, Japan in 1864.
