They are exceedingly difficult. I'm sorry to read the implication that you've been having a rough time with such a relationship.
My apologies for giving that impression. I haven't been in one for a long time. There has been some flirting with others, but that's just it.
Then I retract my sympathies. :P You con artist, you. :P

So a loooong day of drinking, singing, watching football (soccer to all you philistines ;) ), more drinking, with maybe a bit of celebrating, dancing and drinking thrown in too. And I'll be wearing my kilt too.

Sunday will be a day of recovering from the above revelrie and saying "never again", knowing that it'll be the same at the next game

I'll have to get my kilt dry cleaned as well 'cos it'll probably have loads of beer, guinness, whisky and other unmentionable stains on it.

Can't wait. Only two more sleeps.
Sounds like a good day. I'm still on the hunt for a ticket. :P

Got one!
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Weekends are pretty laid back around my house.

I'll chop up what little wood we have left to burn this year...don't need too many fires now, just in the evening.
I'm going to town to buy some new work clothes.

I need to put a new tap in the bathroom too.

So much fun!!

Well, I'm hoping just to kick back and relax this weekend. I need a bit of me time. There's so much going on in my life. I need quiet time...I think that's the only way I'm going to be able to decipher all this shouting going on in my head.

Best wishes for a stress-free weekend, Sea.

Me, I'm hoping for some good weather this weekend so I can get out there and put my shiny new Canon A710 digicam through its paces! :S

I think I will pass on seeing that, as it looks rubbish.

"This is not madness; this is Sparta!"

And it sounds rubbish, too.

It wasn't bad, but it's all flash and no substance. Plus the Spartans do the whole US Marines excess masculinity shouting and bonding stuff. Yuck.

ROTFL!

Rained on Saturday, so I took Busby for a hike (yes, a hike) and left the other horses alone. Sunday was beautiful, so I rode Mimi (not mine) and Angel (mine) and lunged Busby (who is so mine that he felt comfortable enough to try and drag me across the ring when he ran away; i wanted to save my pants the wear and tear so I let go).

Now I have to study for my chemistry exam tomorrow night. *cries*

College chemistry is such a fun class. . . back when I was in college I tutored a fellow student in chemistry--while we were in the same chem class. And even better, she paid me more to do it (per hour) than I am making now. Maybe I should go back and start a business tutoring college students. ;)

Why the heck not, Lyr? Boost your income? Maybe if you get enough tutoring, you can give up the lower paid one!

Me, I had a busy weekend - mainly rehearsals, but I also wrote a monologue for a competition which could net me $3,000 if I win it! And I wrote it in one and a half hours. That's what you call a good hourly wage!

I am going to rewrite Ein Symphonie Des Eisens this weekend, and I also plan to watch "The Lives of Others". Looks like it's going to be a German weekend.

Ein Symphonie Des Eisens isn't written in German, despite the fact that it's about Germans. It's more a tribute to U-Boat crews as it is an analysis of cognitive dissonance within a military hierarchy.
