I have verizon because you still have service even in remote areas AND you arent charged for roaming minutes.
However when you get that far out.. your batteries dont seem to last because your phone is constantly hunting for a local tower.

That was why I chose Verizon, too. I wanted to know I'd have service in MD, VA and coastal ME, and along all the interstates between them. Cingular doesn't cover rural VA or ME so well.
