As an Aussie who doesn't have pay-TV I haven't seen any of the games. But I did read a blog in which a lot of people weren't surprised by Italy winning a second game.

Are they really emerging as a worthy opponent?

'Cause that would be pretty cool, IMO.

From what I've read their pack is excellent in a game that is not played at too fast a pace, and they're in dire need of a good five-eighth. Sounds like they're getting pretty close to me...

Are the Five nations finally becoming Six?

(Starting to experience a bit of hemisphere-envy)

I was pleased for Italy at the weekend - I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on their play, but Italy iself seems to be going rugby-mad, with the fans showing the football fans how to enjoy sport without trouble.

Still, I hope Ireland slaughter them next weekend!!!

I'm assuming that it's over by now. Who won?

France won on points difference - though it was a very exciting finale, with Ireland giving away a try in the last minute to Italy, and France scoring one in the last minute of their game, and their point advantage ended up at 4!

Thanks for that Stone, my PC had been down so I didn't read about it the time.

Must have been a bit of a heartbreaker for you.
