I posted this in the dinner topic too, but here it is again...
Tonight...
I took left over fillet minion and cut it in half... like to make two thinner fillets.
With four slices of white bread mayo 2 and whole seed mustard on the others...
Placing jalapeno’s on the mayo side and lettuce on the mustard with the fillet’s in the middle.
Making two awesome steak sandwiches! That was great... just great.

Hehehe... Too bad for the moose. I appreciate it anyway
.
I've been brought up on moose. We only had beef a couple of times every year. The hunting traditions are very strong where I come from. There is no reason to buy fish or meat when you can get it your self from the forest or a river.
One exception: pork. We had pork often but my parents usually bought it from the farmer.

Foul .. LOL
if i'd been raised on kangaroo steaks and wallaby and koala stews .. i might be licking my lips at the very thought of them
instead of feeling like puking at the very thought of eating either
LOL

it all comes down to what you're used tocloudberry wrote:Hehehe... Too bad for the moose. I appreciate it anyway .

Sometime when I have a moose steak I make roast beef. Tastes just as good. The difference between moose and beef isn't very big at all. Recipies for beef work just as well for moose.
The biggest difference is probably that since the moose is a wild animal its meat contains less fat.
I like reindeer too. And roe deer.
Bust most of all smoked salmon. Yum!

Americans are weird. Apparently, when you order a tuna sandwich, their tuna is like a mix of tuna and veggies etc etc. You can't just get a good ol' tuna sandwich, with just tuna spread.
(wife explained this to me, she thinks ours are weird cause we DO use tuna when we say tuna!)

Do you think I like being this dangerous?

Too bad. I simply hate moose, deer and all other wild meat. I can smell it miles away when it is cooked (and I stay miles away too).I like reindeer too. And roe deer.

Yes but it is usually called tuna Salad with Miracle whip and onion and a little spices added in.
Me I use canned tuna in about 100 different dishes I make, most don't sound very appetizing but taste good when completed.
And Venison, Mmmmmmmmmm we are currently in deer season here and I can't wait to get a fresh deer steak.
Or some deer trail boloney..
Watch out Bambi !!!

CHEESESTEAK loaded with onions, green peppers and cheese. There are few things I enjoy more but you have to find a place that really gets it right. I never thought I'd ever meet a cheesesteak I didn't like but..........
