Is there anyone who is going to wait for the book and NOT read the preview?

I was planning to, but i think i'll cave.
some new TC disscussion would be cool anyway.

I'm not gonna do it. I am gonna wait as patiently as I can and then when I get my copy I am gonna do NOTHING but voraciously read it twice in a row.

Tempting, but I'll be waiting myself for the book.

I wonder if the PDF will be something we have seen already (wasn't there a chapter reading late last year somewhere?)
Doesn't matter. April 9 it is... just a taste!! It has been SOOOO LONG!!!
There's like three or four Borders bookstores around here, I can't imagine any benefit to ordering from Amazon unless they GUARAN-DARN-TEE it will be on my porch on Oct 9.
Blocking off Oct 10!!! Phone to be disconnected! Computer OFF! Pizza pre-ordered!!

To my best knowledge, it'll be chapter one that's released as PDF. That reading Danlo transcribed is not from Chpt 1.

I don't read previews. I wouldn't even read jay's until I knew
for sure it was a joke.

I just checked: the sections that Danlo transcribed are from chpt 2 and chpt 6.

You won't be able to get anyone to believe that once they read the real Chapter 1 preview!
And then the ravens pecked out his eyes.

Seareach, somewhere around here there's a post/thread by Danlo with his notes from a reading from Chapter 1.

I'll look for it. I don't remember it though....
Edit: Ok it was the IFAC 2005 reading and transcribed by Mouseglove. You can find it here:
kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic ... 621#214621
As mentioned there, SRD only read the first 12 pages of the first chapter.
