I post from home and around the US in various hotel rooms. Tonight, a nice room on the 32nd floor in Philadelphia!

Oooh... nice clean desk, MM. Cool background, too.

Another clean desk! But I like the feel of your space, MM. :)

I must take a picture of my desk (which is now clean--well, cleaner that it was when I started this thread!!!)

Yeah, I cleaned the crumbs off before I took the shot, haha...

(No flash used...put my camera on a tripod, set it at ISO 80 and took a 2-second exposure at f2.8 - the camera's widest aperture. Yes, I've gone off the deep end.)

My desk at work is spotless. Every square inch of my desk at home is covered in books, CDs, random cables and assorted camera parts. No matter how clean I try to keep it, stuff just comes back. I think PKD had something to say about that.

Hmmm...don't know what PKD said about that...

My desk used to be more cluttered, too, but I just recently reorganized things...probably won't be long before papers start piling up again.

'Kipple' is the word I was searching for. Junk that multiplies by itself and drives everything else away, or something like that.

That is nice! I avoid using a flash whenever possible, so any camera that's versatile in different 'natural' lighting conditions is pretty cool.

Thanks!

Re: camera - I'm able to set the exposure on my Canon manually...some compact digicams have manual mode, but most don't. (And all SLRs have full manual control, of course.)

From end to end the thing is huge, the wing on the left end is so large that the kids and I often pull up chairs and eat there. Luckily the room it is in is 625 sq ft. I also have another printer that did not fit into the shot, it is one of those all in one printer, copier, scanner deals.

Nice desks, everyone!

I have a new picture of my desk (I recently moved):

I still need to finish decorating this corner. I'm having some of my black and white Europe pictures blown up and framed to go on the wall above the computer. :)

Good use of space! The drawers make up for the desktop. Good one!

Thanks! AND it is solid wood too! I am going to refinish it soon. I want to paint it bright red, then put crackle medium on it, and then paint it black. That way it will go with the wrought iron-y thing we have going on.

As far as space goes. . . if I have more space, then I find more things to clutter it up with! :D

That'll look good.

What places are the pictures going to be of?
