Great. It's like six here, and I have a dentist appointment.

MAN! I thought my early days were done for the time being! :P

Wish me luck, if I don't come back, I love you all.

Oy Vey! What is happening to us all. Back in my day, the only reason a kid would bring a gun to school would be to show off his/her new hunting rifle and make his/her friends jealous. Anyone else remember those days? The days of riding bikes in the street without helmets or knee and elbow pads? When it wasn't a big deal to hitch a ride to the beach from a stranger? When your Dad would tell you to go outside and play and the only rule was to be home before full dark? I need a good cry. Be safe Pevan.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Sounds like normall life for me! Except for the rifle, I would have been tazered.

*sigh* Yeah, things just keep getting worse, at the sime time somethings keep getting better. Such is life.

i saw some firemen walk past the window a few minutes back and they looked like they were joking with one another, so i don't the situation is critical. of course, they don't tell us anything, just come over the PA system and tell us to secure our classrooms, lock the doors and let no one in or out. then we sit here in ignorance wondering just what is going on.

That makes more sense. I had this vision in my head of your kids just looking in horor as their teacher calmly surfs on a TC message board oblivious to the sirens. :P :D

i can just see it now, "hey teach, they just fired tear gas into the class next door!"

"be quiet and get back under your desk, Cameraman Jenn is giving me the scoop on FantasyBedtimeHour!!"

edit: UPDATE, they just came over the PA and said classes will resume as normal in 5 minutes. i guess whatever the threat was, perceived or real, it is gone now.
