I am very, very sad. While I haven't gotten through all of Vonnegut's work, the books and short stories I've read over the years have stayed with me - moreso than most other books I've read.

It's sad to think that we won't be reading any new Vonnegut books. May he be at peace knowing that his work will live on in the hearts and minds of his fans that are and the fans that are yet to be. Farewell Kurt.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

RIP Mr Vonnegut, you confused and delighted me in equal measure!
The bit in Slaughterhouse 5, with the bombers flying backwards, is possibly the most amazingly uplifting piece of literature I have ever read!
