I would not hold any god responsible for adventurers, but I must warn you all that such reprehensible actions will not be tolerated.
Jove has expressed her condolences, but I have heard nothing from anybody else. I hope no one takes it amiss when I hunt down those responsible and make examples of them.

what about the other gods?
Ahhh ... conflicted am I ... it sounds like these are effective DESTROYERs and that they spread CHAOS ... that pleases me! But DESTRUCTION of them might taste sweet ... On balance ... I say save them!! Perhaps you will give them to me at some future time, when you tire of them, cousin Argothoth. I think CHAOS and DESTRUCTION could use such as these.

I will support YOUR wishes. *nods*

I have not felt this Viera so I am not in a position to make judgement. Whatever decision is reached is fine with me.

Brothers and Sisters,

There is a small island just east of the new continent Limithra. If no one has laid claim to it, I would like to settle it. It is close to my trade center of Magran and would be convenient.

Thank you.

I'm unsure to which island you refer, Jove.

I'm sorry. It is west of the continent Limithra. But, the All-Fatherer has informed me that it is not close to Magran but on the other side of Eiran so that might not be a very good choice for me.

I am looking for a small island for my followers. There is a small island southwest of the city of Necropolis in the south. If no one has any objection, I would like to settle it.

If it is taken, can any of the gods perhaps offer an alternative island?

If your hunger for new land is so great, I shall be glad to raise an island for your followers, at a location you specify.

Very cool! And thank you, Melirelle. That would be helpful indeed. Let us speak in private.

Be sure to consider the repurcussions of such an action. The water displaced by the appearance of a new island would have to go somewhere...

I am perfectly aware of the balance that must be maintained, and the consequences of actions I proposed. But whether I do our sister a favor or not is none of your concern, God of Death - or do you monitor the transactions of all the other gods to give them advice on how best to do their job?

Astavyastataa Kadna,

Do you intend to remain in Landir?

Regarding Veria's people, I have also had no dealings with them. (By what miracle, I cannot imagine.) Combined with my natural tendencies, I would have to vote to let them live. That is, assuming they now follow Argothoth loyally. He did, after all, help me with an orc problem I had. :)

It is to everyone's concern, Melirelle, when you propose action that might affect the whole of Eiran.

There are many things other gods do that affect the whole of Eiran more than I could ever do. And frankly, I doubt you would have the same concern were it one of the other gods proposing such a thing. Could it be - AllFather forbid! - that you do not trust me or my power?
Is it the plan of the gods of Eiran, to make sure foes of those who otherwise might not be so?

Melirelle, it does not appear that Maeror did anything more than ask that care be taken. It's all good! :D

On the contrary, Melirelle. I have even restrained myself from attempting certain actions, due to the possibility of unforseen outcomes. I would simply advise that others take the same caution. In this case, I acknowledge that the risk is small, but I still wished to make certain that Jove was aware of it.
If this is your reaction to a few words of advice offered freely, it does little to encourage further relations between us.

what about the other gods?
I feel I should clarify more.

It is not so much that I vote yay or nay. it is more along the lines that I feel I have no honorable right to tell you to kill or spare you followers, for it would hipocritical of me, when I spared my own followers who caused a like damage.

I abstain, however if it should come to a Pantheon wide-vote, then I would vote for life, but for the reason as stated above.

For now I abstain, and feel that the rest of the Pantheon should as well.

Did that make sense? ;)

Maeror, you have valid points. It is a concern to be discussed. However, after some small discussion with Melirelle, I pointed out that it would be unecessary for her to expend power when she did not need to and there are plenty of islands that I'm sure I could use.

However, I do openly thank Melirelle for her generosity in offering to help.

So, fellow dieties, what say you? The small island southwest of Necropolis? Does anyone have any objection? I do not want to step on any toes if that island is spoken for.
