They hardly walked around. I didn't get a chance to hump....I mean hug Tigger or any other charactors for that matter. Mostly they make you wait in line to get the picture op which kinda sucks. Oh well. I am more than happy with the pictures I DID get!

Sorry that your friends stiffed you, Xar. A simple act of thoughtlessness can really sting when it's done by a close friend. |G

And yay for Balon! Perhaps a good job at last for the Urban Achiever! :D

Yay for Jenn enjoying her vacation too. :D

I feel better today. No dark thoughts or anything like that.

Thanks!

Keep good thoughts flowing everyone, even though I am confident that it'll go well. Sixty positions open. One of them HAS to be open for me.

At least, I hope so.

Hope it works out for you, Balon. A job in a movie theatre sounds sweet to me.

Finally did my taxes yesterday and found out I owe the (expletive) gov't even more (expletive) money. Those (expletive) bastards.

Other than that, I feel fine.

I rarely get sick, but this year, I've already gotten the flu twice. I feel really, really bad, but definitely better than yesterday, which was better the the weekend (I had the kids, too - good lord, that was difficult).

Are you getting enough rest dAN? Perhaps not eating as well as you could? I know when I am worn down I get sick alot.

Hope you feel better!

My trainer kicked my butt again.....I need a nap.

When I started I could barely do 12 crunches, now I can do 25 easily. My body is starting to change shape and I am sleeping better than I have in years. Now if I could only get the eating under control.

Thanks for the thoughts and luck guys! It payed off.

The dude that was interviewing me was pretty cool, but also distant, really taking the interviewee/interviewer position. All it took was a few questions, a lot of talking with my hands and a fair amount of my dazzling smile and I had him won over.

Now all I do is wait untill they return me for a job or not. So keep the thoughts coming!

Thanks again guys!

I'm sure you did great, Balon!

Hugs and sympathy for our sickies. In my book green tea is soverign against all sickness. Also, I've had very, very good luck with the Zicam swabs. They've saved me from the flu and from a horrible sore throat--and each time they were effective within one day of use. And no, I am not being compensated for my testimonial. ;)

Get feeling better! |G

Oh. . . more suckiness is coming down the pike on the job front on June 1st. One more reason to find another job ASAP. . . that and another reason to take that day off and go to Elohimfest. . . :cross:

Between stomach flus, throat infections, and head colds...every one in our house has had or does have two of the three ailments in the last couple of weeks.

We're going through a cleaning now to see if we can get back on track...no alcohol (shouldn't be a problem for the kids) no meat...only fresh fruits and veggies and grains...lots of water...stuff like that.

I may get my wife to teach me some Yoga in the next few weeks...just some simple stuff; I'd like to learn some good meditation techniques.

One last update. :D

I got hired! YAY! I don't know for what position or hours, but I'm going back in on friday to sign off on some paperwork, and as of now, I'm an employee of the Cinemark theatre.

Happy Day!

Good for you, Balon!
Either you get to watch new release movies, or
you get to serve popcorn to those who are watching
the new release movies. :D

I am in a good mood today.
Got a raise at work, got teamed-up with a co-worker that I can get along with, and was informed by my boss that I may move up in the work place soon.
IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!
(Took 2-1/2 years to get to where I need to be.)

Also, tomorrow night is the banquet for school where I get recognized for having the highest grade in my class.
(Even though it was a final grade of 85%)
But it was the hardest year of the four.
Have you hugged your arghule today?

I feel like a piece of burnt bacon. On the upside, Lord Foul is done with college until August 19. I think I made all As again--not sure. I just know the studying and the jogging was driving me nuts.

I celebrated by buying Doom 3 again. Missed that game. I might also get Ninja Turtles on DVD in the near-future. Either that or Futurama Volume 4 (saw it for $19.99 at a local Wal-Mart).

Beat Doom 1 a year ago or so. Still gotta try Doom 2, if only for the super shotgun.

As long as we're reminiscing, does anyone else remember David the Gnome and The Fred Penner show? I've been looking ALL over for those two. Last time I found David the Gnome for sale it was from some cheezy online shop in the UK, and there was NO WAY I was going to give my info there.
