Xar,

i appreciate your gesture in reminding us of the facts. i would like to add, however, that try as one might, it is sometimes not possible to imagine that a character is NOT taking the player into consideration when making moves or trading quips and jibes.

however much we'd all like to believe we're playing characters, we are, in actuality, playing each other.

there are people behind these masks, my friends. i'm confident we will ALL remember that fact.

Xar, once again, i thank you for this most engaging game and feel certain we can all enjoy it without hurting one another.

Oh, my comment wasn't aimed at anyone in particular; but since things are moving, and it seems like war looms on the horizon, I wanted to clarify this thing before anything else, just in case. I wanted to explicitly state everything, just in case.

well, i think that here we are all friend.
Move war against another player is simply part of the game. As Xar said, we must not confuse real life with the game.

We must keep that in mind as long as we play the game ;)

No, it's a Chaos Marine; look at the stabiliser jet detail.

Xar wrote:Given the current situation and the possible tensions that might result from it, I feel it is important to reiterate something, lest someone get too caught up in the situation:

Pantheon is a game.

However addictive or funny the game might be, it's still just a game. A roleplaying game, sure, but still a game. Players here interpret their characters, but in instance should enmity or resentment between characters cross over to poison the relationships between players. If two gods go to war, bent on each other's utter annihilation and trading insults wildly, I expect both players to understand and accept that the hatred between the gods is only a character thing: it shouldn't condition the friendship between two players. It may be difficult to separate sometimes, but it is extremely important that everyone does it.

In fact, if it ever turns out that the Pantheon game leads to the severing or "cooling down" of friendships, if it ever looks like any in-game strain is being carried over in the real world, I promise I'll shut Pantheon down rather than allow friendships to be tarnished by it.
I know what your talking about. I'm in the minority here for having a lot of actuall RP experience, and I've tried both kinds, both table-top and Live Action. Expecially in the Live Action, people can forget that they're not their characters.

I've got no problem keeping the emotions on a one way street, except excitement. Nor and I've got no beef outside the game, right Nor?

Not at all; to me, this is a roleplaying game. Anything that happens to Nor, happens to a fictional character.

Anyway, some of you know where I am headed with Nor Yekith. ;)

I still think that is a Black Templar...
Chaos marines do not have the crux terminatus... the marine in the picture is covered by those crux :D

Yes, but look at the spiked wheel on his back - that's the 8-pointed star of the Chaos gods.

I don't have a problem with anything the other players do. But if what I think is going to happen next turn happens, I'll be quitting the game. I just have to decide if I want to risk revealing why without endangering a couple of other characters. I know that's a bit cryptic, but I don't know how else to say it at the moment.

(reverting back to my very first post to you, m'l-rd, from my player's username while I was still "in shell" and addressed you as an outsider looking in during version 1.0, as I know not this mood which could have possibly brought such a post on to the board)

:::approaching with caution and determination:::

No.

The Pantheon of Eiran must always have one of the Bhakti line within it. Malice, Disease, and Mutation, Chaos and Destruction will reign free without your countering strength m'l-rd.

As Undine said, if the few whispers I am hearing come to pass, there may not be a Game to continue, and I will weep as I do not see myself returning unless my followers Will me back as I am.

I set my own Will to forbid you leaving Eiran, m'l-rd. I am not strong, but I set everything I have to Will it to be so. Such a thing must never occur.

By doing so, I deny my nature of Freedom to empower my Will.

So let it be written.
So let it be done...
