Noooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't read the previous post when I made mine - I didn't see that there were new posts, so instead of reading I just posted the info I found.
I wonder if they're ending it so they can move forward with the other series they were talking about - Caprica (taking place before or during the first Cylon wars - or something like that).

And then the ravens pecked out his eyes.
My understanding is that Caprica has been shelved.

Is Rotten Tomatoes a joke site? Or is this only talking about a theatrical movie? The SciFi Channel movie (Pegasus adventures between the Pilot and when Admiral Caine shows up in the Series proper) is a certainty, to the best of my knowledge, as it was mentioned again in the official word of cancellation, I believe.
I hoenstly don't get why so many people always want Theatrical movies of TV series, they very infrequently are any better than a double episode and can generally make it to the TV screen quicker than the big screen, plus you don't have to spend $25.00 for two people to see it.

No, it's for real.
I'd pay to see a good BSG film in the theater, and I hope they do it.

This is from Comic.con, and contains spoilers about the upcoming season, so watch with caution. BUT - if you don't want the spoilers, but if you're a red blooded guy, at least watch it with the volume turned down, just to see Katee Sackhoff looking freakin' hotter than any chick alive. Oh yeah, Tricia Helfer's in it too.

I just watched Razor (through probably illegal means...)
God I missed that show! It basically plays like a two or three part episode, but it's a cool story and a nice drink of water after several parched, Battlestar-less months.
I dont think im giving much away when I say this but...

Not much of a spoiler, but.
Ok, this one is a real spoiler:

And I could be wrong, but I have to believe that for some reason they referenced The A-Team when Kira said, "Isn't it grand when a plan comes together."

Man, how much would that have sucked when Pegasus sees that Galactica saved (most of) the civilian fleet and still managed to kick Cylon ass. I can see everyone on Pegasus almost simultaneously saying, 'Yep, we're assholes.'
And it was very interesting, and entirely believable, to see the admiral's relationship with their cylon. Explains a lot.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

It also add poignancy to Adama's initial decision to run and hide to protect what humanity was left. His warrior's instinct made him want to fight. It took another civillian leader to make him change his mind.
I think that is one of the loveliest things about Adama and Roslin, and the thing that makes them such wonderful leaders, their capacity to change their minds.
Cain was incapable of anything but total commitment to her decisions, anything less would be weakness. Is she right? After all, the latter is a more effective way to fight the enemy. But what was she fighting for?

I was a little skeptical when I heard about Razor. I thought, that like some of the Babylon 5 movies, this may have ended up just as an excuse for more air time, with fair, at best, quality. But I really liked it. It felt like it really added to the regular run of the show.

Very good over all. Now the next season needs to start!

Absolutely loved the A-team reference, too! LMAO!

I was a little worried when it became clear that a lot of the scenes with Caine were going to be things we heard about before, just hadn't seen. There was a good chance it was going to feel like padding, and not necessary. But the way they did it, and incorprated their new character (forgot her name already - oops) into it put a good prespective on it.
