Well this may be premature .. but i figured why not canvass interest and have something to work towards .. heh .. :wink:

Next July our esteemed US haruchai member .. Bannor is visiting these fair shores .. and we are in the process of planning a jaunt to New Zealand together during that time .. So I have run it past a few kiwi members .. and have recieved very promising interest expressed.

So I was thinking .. Watch members could meet together whilst we are there ..

now I am not sure how many kiwi members we have .. apart from Vain, Variol son and jedi_gms

I posited a bbq for our aussie members in honour of Bannor's visit .. and any aussie members who would not be able to come to NZ in July but would be interested in a Bar-B .. then register responses here ..

It doesnt matter if we dont get a big crowd cos there arent the numbers down-under :wink: :lol: LOL .. and it'll be a nice small intimate gathering

And so far it will be in the ACT .. lols :wink: .. unless you can come up with an arguement for a preferred location .. and we will travel ;)

We have tonnes of time to put something together .. and it would be nice to show our US fellow Watchman and his wife some real aussie and trans-tasman hospitality

So far we know as for the kiwis .. variol son and vain are up for a get-to-gether of an undistinguished character in their homeland ;)

So the question is .. who else?

1. Up for a New Zealand get-to-gether

2. Can only make it for an aussie get-to-gether

3. Cant make either

Uh, if I lived Down Under, I'd go. But, seeing as I'm here, I'm stuck with the one at danlo's house. :? :)

*sob* I'd love to go but if you held it in the flat next door to ours I'd still be too busy with other stuff and make it ... one day in the future some of this crap will be over and I can start getting involved in the world again :)

lols .. i know how that goes ..

i didnt really expect any US members to attend though all are most welcome indeed!! this isnt in competition with the brilliantly elaborate US elohimfest .. its only an alternative for trans-tasmans that are interested in a very low key gathering .. and it coincides with one of our own visiting at that time ;)

and maybe we can have a web-cam hook-up to the US elohimfest ..

now that would be cool ;) lol

I'd love to attend if its in the Auckland area, but since i lost my wheels i cant really get much further out of town without great hassles :0

Hmm you might be able to come to my house kiwis...ill just have to ask my mum... :)

LOL .. well vain is in the Aukland area and we were already planning on visiting him <with his permission ofcourse ;) >

so it could be done ..

i believe variol son is on the south island .. and we planned on going there anyway .. so if he cant make it to the north island we'll catch up with him anyway ;)

I feel your pain :cry: I intend to visit Oz and/or NZ, but I doubt it will be possible to do it in time for the Elohim Mini-Fest :( I probably won't be able to get to the States to hang out at Danlo's gaff either. Grrr. *sigh*
