To The Gods of The Pantheon,

Salutations,

My seas wash the coasts of all your lands. Hence I bring you warning, corruption and malice have attempted to pollute My waters.
From the north-western promontory of Nor Pupae, something releases an viscous, unnatural abomination into the seas surrounding Nor Pupae; a fluid which mutates every living being which comes into contact with it. Fish, crustaceans, and even explorer merfolk caught in the corruption are hideously twisted and changed by the substance.
In order to combat the spread of this abomination, I have frozen the seas around Nor Pupae. A temporary measure, but effective for the time being.

My sympathies to Bhakti and Mithyaat Vaam regarding the deaths of your prophets. My prophet was attacked last season, and although the perpetrator remains unknown, the rank taste of the corruption unleashed into the Tears of Undine resembles that of Nor Pupae's flesh-rivers.

It appears that with the boundaries of the afterlife strengthened, I was at least able to prevent many of the souls being pulled back into their physical remains. Not all--some of the dead were still were forced to suffer that mistreatment--but at least a large part were kept safe.

On a seperate matter entirely, Astavyastataa's followers continue to be a nuisance, being responsible for a series of murders across Eiran, and attacking more than one of the important worshippers of the gods. It seems his pack of murderers have learned an interesting new trick--the ability to transport themselves instantly from place to place. The have made quite a creative, though gruesome, game of it: In many cases, they will appear out of nowhere, grasp the head of a murder victim, and then simply shift themselves to another place nearby--taking the head with them. We can only wonder where they learned such a thing.

It is no suprise or secret that my forces have ammased in Linver to fight back aginst Nor's coming attack on all life of Eiran, and though the dead have risen, I will not be halted. Your scourge will be halted and pushed back to where they should be: oblivion.

It seems the time has come, Nor. Let us dance, you and I.

What???

Regarding my Search for Calypso Solus and the stolen egg/hatchling...
The AllFather wrote: When Donnan and Maartin jump between and reach the place where the vision showed Vaxxa and Calypso, they find nothing but the headless corpse of Vaxxa, still warm and gushing blood from the horrendous wound, and her head lying on the ground several meters away. Strangely enough, it appears that there is no blood between the body and the head - as if the head simply disappeared from the body and reappeared at a distance, rather than being carried or hurled away.
:::shaking with rage:::

m'L-rd Astavyastataa Kadna, if Maeror's comments are true, you have some explaining to do...

If not, we need to team up at this point and track down who is laying this at the feet of your FAVORED...

Well, it could have been Xar. But there are bound to be other details with this mystery.

Ahhhh, deities ... so ready to Judge!!

Behold - from the AllFather:
AllFather wrote:Sontag seeks Vaxxa out, and rides the Winds to reach her - but he witnesses a scene that leaves even him speechless. Vaxxa and the child are standing, transfixed, hearing the words of a translucent, robed figure who is not a mortal being, but the sign of the presence of a god. The figure has just told Vaxxa something, and she slowly nods, as if against her will. The figure lifts up a hand, and a glowing door appears; Vaxxa picks up the child and the egg, and slowly begins to walk towards the door... Sontag, knowing that none of your worshipers should be made to follow another god, cannot allow this to go on; he leaps from the shadows and grasps Vaxxa's head, then rides the Wind a short distance away, slaying her instantly, her lifeless body falling over egg and child. The child cries in horror, splattered with blood; before Sontag can reach her, the child grasps the egg in her hands and jumps into the glowing portal, and Sontag follows, hoping to get the child and leave before the portal disappears. However, the portal closes before he can return, and you cannot feel his presence anymore.
Now, whom from the Pantheon will claim responsibility. A door for travel? A door in the weave of reality? Or someone who feels kinship to Solus ... or perhaps another deity is willing to claim credit!!

For the second time, a group of AK's followers have murdered a group of mine. I have no reason to believe he instigated these attacks, but that does not make them more palatable.

Bring your curs to heel, Kadna. There will be no third time.
Said she, "What I get I get out of the fire,
So prithee, strike home and redouble the blow."

For the last two months I have recieved word from the Allfather on what may be connected to this matter.
Something on another plane of existence shakes in its fitful slumber, closer and closer to awakening.
We are being joined by something else, siblings.

Please send me the AllFather's note ... they have NOT be told to attack you or yours - I will attend to them as best the AllFather allows!!

By now you know that the world is headed to disaster. Ruin and malice have struck, and the time has come for me to transform the world. My armies now march, and I am prepared to enact the plans that I have been developing from the day I arrived here. But you have the means to end suffering on Eiran. I ask you to manifest in Nor Pupae and kneel before the Weeping Ziggurat. You will sacrifice yourself for the good of the world. If you do so, granting me the realms of nature and love, I will leave the world. If you do not, I will ravage every forest on the planet, spread plagues that will devastate all life, cripple and main your people, turn the earth into a blasted ruin, spread cancers into all life. And I promise you first I will
destroy Zephyr. I know where he is, and I am prepared to do that should you not obey me. It is your choice, though I hope you realise you have nothing to bargain with. Either you sacrifice yourself or malice will shatter the world.

Ah. Thank you, Yek. No - Nor Yekith. For this, I call you Friend. As all know, my prophet died. (While trying to save a child who fell into a crevice.) Wiri had been with me from the beginning. He helped establish the glory that is Shakari. Truly, his wisdom and Love were an inspiration for all of my followers. My heart broke when I felt his passing. I was in a dark place.

Never before have I needed a laugh so badly! And never before have I been the recipient of such a rare and wonderous jest!! Thank you! Thank you so much!!!!!

Door to travel, indeed! I wish I could claim that it was mine but alas, I am not that clever.

But, I am fascinated by this method of travel that your followers use. Riding the wind... is that what it is called?

Who in the current Pantheon would feel kinship to Solus? She is a direct descendent from the first Pantheon of Eiran. She is a follower of Undine's but he and I have had discussions regarding her, and so I now lay claim. To both her and the hatchling, which should have hatched by now!!

Sister Mithyaat Vam. This portal sounds very similar to your warrens from stories you have posted in the past. Do any else of the Pantheon have similar modes of travel? Or, did you have anything to do with this?

*nod*

Yes, sister, that is what he calls it. And my understanding is he developed it after bestowing the gift of between on my third year weyrlings who helped him relocate. I suspect the two methods of travel are similar, but his is improved so no mistake of visualization can occur.

I also do not know if its means of travel is instantaneous, as Maeror claims, or if it is also a three second jump.

Well it looks like you will have to present yourself for sacrifice, God of Love. What other choice have you got? The God of Malice has said that he will remove himself from the world if you do.

(But let's get an oath to the Allfather first...)
