Good vibes are being pushed your way, and especially to Steve.

I did the stupidest thing last night. I frickin' locked all my gear in my work locker, with the key inside.

So now I have to go to work on my day off with a hacksaw, and try to get the damn thing back.

Feeling better. Spent the greater part of the week at a funny farm, where they observed my OCD and prescribed various pills and potions.

Already seeing results with the pills--and sideffects. My hands are twitchy as hell, for instance. Not bad enough that I can't play video games, though, so I'm satisfied. :D

Feeling great! What a wonderful day! Just spent 4 hours in the mountians with Tam, Elora Grace and Jojo dog. Had a great picinic--hiked around and now about to have burgers and bean salad and watch The Prestige. And I'm on my way to San Francisco for the FBH wrap party in late July!

Sore, sore, sore. I rode 40 miles today on my bicycle on a great bike trail. I usually only go about 26, but it was cool out today and I was really in a groove. Problem is, I've got a hardtail mountain bike which is the second most inefficient way of riding on a paved trail. Great workout, but it thoroughly kicked my ass.

And I'm probably gonna do it again tomorrow.

Gotta get this divorce over with so I can get a decent road bike.

Damn, thats a good workout Cail! Good work. Surely health and fitness related spending (like a bike) is acceptable? Maybe call it "health insurance" :)

Well, I feel all conquering today. I cruised through a 10k (6.2miles for the Yanks) jog this afternoon, I had enough energy for a solid speed in the middle, and a 200m flat run at the end. The challenge for me will be stepping that up to 15k (9miles) and then 20k (12 or 13miles) in the coming weeks...

Did something BAD to a rib last Saturday, trying to open a stubborn bottle of Cava, it's been getting worse and worse all week, what with hayfever sniffing and coughing have been AGONY.

BUT, went to see an acquaintance yesterday who's an osteopath and he osteopathed me and just for good measure acupunctured me too (my first time for both) and wehhey! a bit of pain this morning but none at all now.

The relief is , well, almost orgasmic  !

They'll eventually be able to take me off these meds. The drugs only level you out, really; the steps to erasing the OCD behavior/anorexic tendencies are all within my complete control.

At the moment, the OCD is harder to fix than the anorexia. I keep doing tasks just to kill time, or I get weighed down in the middle of a task by trying to do it the "perfect" way. Physically I'm a lot better: 140 right now, which is a big leap from 120 a month ago.

But yeah--the OCD won't go overnight. Part of that was why I despaired so much, at first. Never had such a mental health issue, and I tried too actively to exile it and return to normalcy--which only led to more depression. But now I realize the problem, and I know it's just going to take small steps.

It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

That's a real smart way to think of it Foul. Take your small steps and take them gracefully, with intent and purpose, not in haste.

Slow. High 50s for 10k. My PBs are 4k in 17mins and for 10k is 51mins. I dont mind being slow, as I'm training for a half marathon - I cant run fast for 2 hours! :)

Do you train Marvin?
