3-D Man
First Appearance: Marvel Premiere #35 (April 1977).
Appearances: Marvel Premiere #35-37, What If v1 #9, Incredible Hulk #251-252, Contest of Champions #1-3, Avengers Forever #3-6, Avengers #50.
Years Active: 1958-present.
Chuck Chandler, a test pilot for NASA, was using the experimental XF-13 rocket plane when he was captured by the Skrulls. They attempted to interrogate him, but he escaped, damaging their warp drive as he did. The Skrull saucer exploded as he flew away, exposing him to strange radiation. Chandler crashed the XF-13 in the Mojave Desert, and when his brother Hal attempted to help him, Chuck disappeared. Hal discovered that the image of Chuck had been imprinted on the lenses of his glasses. When Hal wore the glasses and concentrated, he triggered a dimensional shift that returned Chuck to reality; in his new form Chuck wore a green and red bodysuit and had triple normal strength and speed. The 3-D Man fought crime and the occasional Skrull plot.
In What If v1 #9 FBI agent Jimmy Woo brought the 3-D Man together with several other heroes, including Gorilla-Man , Venus, Marvel Boy (III), and Human Robot, to form the Avengers.

I still think that Doctor Strange is the character who desperately needs his own movie.
The Osprey...whatta laff.
A far as 3D man goes...the concept IS kinda cool, in a campy. quirky kind of way. A serious superhero movie? Nah. But I could see a "Rocketeer" style movie out of it.

Okay, besides the fact that the 3-D man guest appeared in all of 14 comics over the last 30 years (that's not quite once every 2 years), proving he's NOT all that interesting to readers, there's also the fact that he lost his powers several years back to Triathelete, who also, predictably, faded into complete and utter obscurity.

the Rocketeer is the perfect template for 3D-Man. and we are all better off pretending that Triathelete just doesn't exist. not every superhero movie needs to be about the big characters. how about some superhero movies that are just plain fun? the Skrulls would also be cool, shape shifting aliens.

Triathelete is in one of the current Avengers titles. (There are three current Avengers titles! )
Dr. Strange had a movie maaaaaaaaaaany years ago. I'm sure I commented on it somewhere, but the Search function isn't working these days, so I can't find it. Anyway, it was remarkably bad.

It was a made for tv thing back in the '70's. I wouldn't count that as a movie, but I guees you can if you want to.

That makes about as much sense as an Armageddon sequal, starring Bruce Willis.

If there was a comic movie with Western overtures that needed to be made, my vote's for this one:
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion
I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.
