It will be the first officially sanctioned use of the popular characters by fans writing “fan fiction” online and the event will feature former cast members from the series.
I'd have to be nuts to skip this. I've been preparing my whole life for this moment and now its here!!!!!!!!

I just registered. Now I've done it. :-)

Oooooo! This is way better than the "Favorite Slash Pairing" poll MGM put about SG: Atlantis last week. I'm glad the studios are finally seeing how indulging the fans can bring in the $$.

I am very tempted... I wish I had time to really devote to doing this right.

[Edit: Yeah, okay, I signed up. Probably won't submit anything but at least I can pick on those who do. )

Really? You can join without having to submit any writing? I'm tempted!

Sounds cool.... but I am gonna pass. I love start trek, but dont want to write abotu it -- I am not moved by it if you know what I mean.

If there was a similar event for TC or some fantasy books I might consider it.
